After months, I FINALLY caught up! I'm so glad I started watching this drama back in February, I'm literally hooked. The entire cast are amazing actors and actresses. I love the storyline and I love all the characters, even the mean ones. Each and every couple is cute in their own way. The awkwardness between Dong Seok and Kwang Suk is breaking my heart, please go back to your usual selves. I'm rooting for Beom Su and Se Ri as well. I wish this drama would gain more global recognition, it's way better than other well-known dramas.

DK's voice is so freaking DIVINE! I had no idea he made a song for Resident Playbook. When I heard his voice at the end of the episode, I had to pause and literally ran to Spotify. It made me so happy. His highnotes and vocals are UNMATCHED. My absolute favorite OST so far.

The guy playing the intern is as foolish as he was in The Art of Negotiation. LOL When he told the patient that she has cancer, I was like "BRO, NOT AGAIN!" 😭

You can drop it also.
I don't like dropping dramas/books/etc. hoping it magically somehow gets better. Also to avoid giving a misleading rating/review.

try Soeul Busters
I've just read some reviews about, it seems pretty good. Will definitely add it to my list. Thank you for your recommendation!

I'm planning on giving it a try this weekend, but not expecting much tbh. The last 2 (actually 4) romcoms I tried…
Same! We share the same opinions about The Divorce Insurance and My Dearest Nemesis. People tend to overhype some dramas to the point where I start questioning my own judgement and taste in dramas. LOL

I didn't even attempt to watch The Potato Lab, but will definitely give The Haunted Palace a shot.

Thank you for your recommendations!

OMG, YES! I totally agree. I'm currently watching Crushology 101 and I'm not enjoying it at all. I feel like I need to watch a thriller or something. Haha

The slow-mo scenes are way too many and each is way too long. I keep speeding up to ×2 and getting back to normal every other scene, it's getting on my nerves. Other than that, the first episode wasn't bad.

Y'all, the final episode was seriously so good and perfectly well-made. It successfully connected all the dots, and constantly going back and forth between past and present was so smooth and well-timed. The directors and script writers definitely did a great job.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and plot, and admittedly, it was the first time for me to watch this genre of dramas. At first, it was a little bit hard to understand and actually enjoy, but once I started getting used to the atmosphere, I got really invested.

Lee Je Hoon's acting was phenomenal! One might think that he's not doing much acting because of the stoic and reserved nature of the character he's portraying, but surprisingly, to play such types of characters requires amazing acting skills. His body language and perfect composure really impressed me. Not once did he break out of character during the entire 12 episodes.

I really loved the scene when he started crying over his brother. After being so used to his impassive character, watching him break down just a little bit left me surprised. It was like seeing a whole new side to Yun Ju No's character.

I also liked the acting of Jang Hyun Sung (Ha Tae Su, CFO) and Sung Dong Il (Song Jae Sik, the chairman), especially the ending scene when they had a stare down. I was stressing out! LOL

Also, ending the drama in the meeting room where everything started was such a cool idea. It gives you dejavu with a hint of irony considering how the tables have turned now.

I'm pretty sure the guy from Samuel Fund, who was with the pregnant woman in the post-credit scenes, is actually chairman Song's son, whom they kept gossiping about in the final episode. There was a family picture at the chairman's house during the sub-story of his sick daughter. It's such an interesting twist. I'm so excited for season 2, I hope they don't take forever to make it.

I agree with you and while everyone wants a wrapped up HE I just thought in reality we don’t all get life as…
I feel like I'm the only one that actually expected the push, I mean, all the signs were there. The "prank" push gave it away, in my opinion. The moment Seonu saw his mother getting beaten up by Deokhui, I KNEW he wasn't gonna let that slide. Also his growing jealousy of Taeyun was a huge hint and the way he considered him a "competitor" plus his mother's pushing all lead him to believe that Taeyun is an obstacle that needs to be eliminated.

If Seonu hadn't done it, I feel like his mother would've just because Deokhui once threatened her that she'd kill her and her son if they don't get away from Daesan. So I bet Seonu's mother took the initiative and instigated Seonu to kill Taeyun first and, in turn, completely ruined Deokhui, who was a great obstacle in her plans.

It's definitely a heartbreaking ending for Taeyun but also a great representation of the main motif of the drama, which is how greed for power will completely ruin you. Taeyun told Deokhui to leave everything behind and let go but she insisted they stay and that greed made her lose her son.

It's such a symbolic ending, I don't know why people hate it. It's so tragic in the best way possible.

I'm not disappointed with the ending because dramas usually reflect real life, and in real life, it's not always a happy ending or even a satisfactory one. The ending left me with a dull melancholic feeling in my heart...

The acting was SUPERB. Literally all the cast members did an amazing job. The story and plot had great potential yet fell short midway and were a bit lacking but not to the point of boredom. Honestly, I didn't once feel bored while watching the entire 16 episodes.

I enjoyed watching Buried Hearts so much and I'll miss it so so so so so much. I don't think it deserves the low ratings and hate just because the ending wasn't what people expected.

I'll miss you, Dongju..

Title Hyper Knife
The story is good but gets messy and out of hand at some point, however, Park Eun Bin's acting carried the whole drama. It might, in fact, carry the whole K-Drama industry in the near future. Her acting is insanely good, I was literally amazed and awestruck watching her performance. She deserves praise, recognition and admiration.
