This should've been a 2-hour-long movie at best. There's not much going on that requires 14 episodes. I could summarize the whole drama in 3 sentences.
Why dont you think that Mr Moon is a decent male character? I think he has integrity and maturity and wisdom and…
I kinda find Tae Gyeong to be an extremely useless passive character. His integrity and maturity are the main issues in this situation because he's been silently seeking revenge for like 5 years now and still hasn't achieved a thing.
I don't think you can fight people like Min Du Sik and Kyeong Chae with morals and ethics. He needs to get his hands dirty like Lucia or else why did he bother to seek revenge to begin with. He should've stayed in the US and moved on.
Let's say Lucia's dilemma is nonexistent, what is he exactly doing in terms of "vengeance"? Absolutely nothing. He's only been chasing Cho Pil Du even though he's an absolute coward who escaped multiple times and when he finally found him, yet again, he let him escape. Alright, you have a heart of gold, good for you, but you can't seek revenge with that kind heart of yours.
And when it comes to working for Min Gang, I can't see him doing anything to subtly destroy the company from the inside out. In fact, he's doing his job way too perfectly. Then what is his plan exactly?
When Kyeong Chae asked him out for a drink, he should've used that opportunity to get close to her and tighten their relationship and exploit her fall out with Seon Jae, but the idiot is being too self-righteous and wasted a great opportunity. Whereas, Lucia clearly has her priorities set straight; REVENGE.
I think he needs to stop obstructing Lucia, at least she know what she wants and is already working on it.
He's definitely "decent" in its literal definition but when I said "decent", I actually meant a male character that is strong and determined about his goals. Not walking aimlessly, getting swayed by whatever Lucia is doing. There's nothing wrong with having morals but once he decided to avenge his parents, he should've made sacrifices and let go of his false bravado or else it's all a waste of time.
I know the way we see things may clash but I totally understand and respect your opinion. But this is a drama after all, there's nothing wrong with being a villain from time to time. Hahaha
Oh and I was being a bit sarcastic about Tae Ju by the way. His character is too ignored by the writers. No background story, no details, no development. Simply, an errand boy but at least he's doing something.
Wow! Imagine that actually happens with Se Ri! I don't know if I were Lucia, would I forgive her or not. It's hard. We'll see.
But seriously, my bias showing up where I work is literally the last thing I'd want to happen. Na Ae Jun is so real for this. He's also hilarious. I'm enjoying this.
I was thinking the same. Also, when did Lucia approve of this? Did I miss something?
Thank you so much! I totally missed that, I must've fallen asleep midway or something. Haha
She might have other bizarre unbelievable ways to continue her revenge. With the way she's magically doing everything right, she might start flying and reading minds and I wouldn't be so surprised. The writers have gone too far... π
Seon Jae, yet again, looking like an absolute clown. I'm tired of seeing him fail every single scheme. Let the man be a true succeeding villain for one episode. I feel like all men in this drama are a bunch of imbeciles, especially that idiot Cho Pil Du, I've had enough of him. He's nothing but a burden. There's seriously not a single decent male character, except maybe Tae Ju, who appears every 5~7 business days. Lol
I'm also afraid Lucia will get too attached to Se Ri in the long run that she won't be able to execute her revenge, specifically now that Se Ri has started calling her 'Eomma' and is already on the way to become a "good girl".
I was squealing, giggling, kicking my feet watching the final episode. I really enjoyed it. Yu Ri and Min Hyeok were so adorable, they won my heart. Silly me had hope we'll get a Yun Jae X Ji Hun kiss but we were sadly robbed. Still, they had amazing chemistry till the very last scene and Yun Jae X Ji Eun were as cute. It was an easy fun watch, I don't understand why people are being so hateful in the comments. It's only a rom-com after all, so I didn't set the bar high enough to be let down.
Seon Jae's inability to do anything right and constant failure will be the cause of Kyeong Chae's early death before Lucia could get her revenge. Kyeong Chae was 2 minutes away from getting a cardiac arrest. If it were me, I would've strangled him at this point. Lol
Ugh, I'm so disappointed. I'm definitely not this drama's target audience. The story is so uninteresting to me. The fight scenes were so tacky, boring, and poorly-executed. The special effects were so corny as well, I think I would've better enjoyed it if it was an Anime or something alike. I'm glad it's only 8 short episodes long.
