This role is more makjang, very theatrical, and very dramatic, does not require holding a conversation or scenes…
Wow! What an extensive explanation! You're right about that, I didn't think of it that deeply, but yes, maybe it has to do with the character not the actor himself. I do still believe that Chae Min has potential to be a great actor one day.
I've already watched up to episode 4 in My Troublesome Star, are you referring to the younger version or the older version of the detective?
I've watched 12 episodes of Crushology 101 and didn't feel a single thing towards Lee Chae Min, but THIS character here is truly enchanting. I'm wholeheartedly mesmerized by his elegance and gracefulness. He's a really good actor and this is definitely a pivotal role in his career. I'm rooting for him! 😍
I think he'll stay good, although I wish he'd do something nasty for a change. Lucia and Stella are already playing…
He does have his charming moments but at other times, I feel so frustrated with him. Like when he found out that the handkerchief belongs to Min Du Sik, he was about to do something reckless and expose his true identity, which I find to be kinda hasty and stupid. I'm glad Lucia stopped him. He needs to act a little bit smarter at times.
I was lowk starting to feel bad for Ji Hyeok but then I had to remind myself that he kinda deserves these life lessons to become a better man. He keeps acting like a wounded puppy tho, especially when all 3 went out together to play games without him but I won't fall for it. Lol
I think Eun Oh made the right decision by quitting, they can't coexist at the same place for the time being or we'll be back to square one. I'm finally starting to like her and don't want her to go back to her delulu cringe phase again.
I find it funny how Ji Hyeok keeps treating Seong Jae like someone he had a one-night stand with. He needs to stop avoiding him and starts communicating. He's supposed to be his best friend and safekeeper. They need to end this awkward phase they're going through.
My love for Seong Jae is growing. That man is so fine. I'm already obsessed with him and Su Bin. I'm not a big fan of age gaps but they literally look so cute together and have amazing chemistry. He's still crushing on Eun Oh and he also sees Su Bin as his little sister at the moment, so I know for a fact that we'll not get to see them together until maybe, hopefully, the second half of the drama. They're giving Rich Man X Poor Girl vibes, which is a cliché but I'm eating it up.
Ji Wan and Yeong Ra's relationship is as cute. I'm starting to notice that all the side characters and side couples are far more likable than the main leads. Lol
Seong Jae's step mom's behavior is so weird and it's creeping me out. I can't tell whether her intentions are good or evil when it comes to Eun Oh. Her obsessive behavior towards her daughter isn't helping either.
So far, we're going steady, neither hella exciting nor extremely boring, which I'm okay with. Another 2 good episodes.
It took Tae Gyeong 62 episodes to take the first step in his revenge, I'm so proud of him. Lol
Now, I wonder if Seon Jae will start getting jealous or something. I also wonder whether Seon Jae's feelings for Kyeong Chae are genuine or he just wants to be with her for the sake of his grandiose dream.
I think he only loves himself, people like him are narcissistic and egocentric, they're incapable of loving other people. What do you guys think?
But seriously, peeling garlic manually is pure torture and they weren't even wearing gloves, their hands are gonna stink for ages. Ji Seop is, FOR ONCE, right. Who even peels garlic and mops the floor by hand in the 21st century! LOL Lucia is taking revenge on the innocent, what did Manager Gong and the daughter-in-law even do?! That was so funny to me, Lucia has gone way too low. 😂
No matter how many times I see bullying in dramas/movies, it never gets easier to watch. It always breaks my heart. And the fact that the bullying isn't even exaggerated makes it even harder to accept. This is a reality for so many kids and almost all of us have been "bystanders" at some point. What a tragedy..
A slow-paced mediocre drama that is definitely not for the impatient. It had its enjoyable moments and delivered a beautiful message with a wholesome finale (up to the scene where Yeo Reum saw her dad on the dock, it should've ended there), so I don't think I need a second season tbh. Not looking forward to it.

Totally agree about Seon Jae. Spot on.
