From my perspective, and that of a large majority (as the 95% positive sentiment suggests), the show really shines as a healing drama and a true slice of life. If your preference leans towards narratives filled with non-stop action, elaborate romantic entanglements, clear antagonists, and family drama at every turn, then this particular drama probably isn't for you.
Of course, there's a time and place for those more intense series you have mentioned , But sometimes, what's truly needed is a moment of calm and reflection, paired with the kind of stunning visuals Meet Yourself offers.
I think it's important for viewers to make their own choices rather than being told what to avoid. Giving a show at least a couple of episodes allows for a fair assessment.
