Hahaha sometimes am in a good mood and just share an unedited version of my brain..

I think the culture also plays a big role .whereby they "idols" have to suffer and smile,wave and be filial sons and daughters..While in other cultures,people are allowed to speak up whenever their toes are stepped on

We just don't know what goes behind the scenes..These idol dramas am watching are outdated ,post 2020.Try to find anything recent that peels of the layers! So unless exposés like these are done,we will continue unknowingly be part of the oil that grease the engine..be in movies and music..I don't even know what is going on up there in Hollywood,when I left it was a mess,I can imagine now.. I remember the movie "The Bodyguard" with Witney Houston..the turmoil behind the glamour

Wow..what a great feedback..It's really out there in the open and we pretend not to see it.
I am a culprit to the fuelling the Wagon,I might not be a die hard fan of K-pop to the point of buying those expensive tickets,but as a music lover,I have picked a group or two who have unique music arrangements and put out artistic pieces but after watching 3 idol dramas,I was left with questions and I don't think SK is ready for that debate.

I guess you have never heard of the saying "working like the rent is due" ? that was the context..And it was with admiration not criticism.

Ji Chang Wook Oppa is my all time top favourite actor so trust me I know he loves acting..you can tell by the numbers of his dramas on my list..
In the future try this hack I use; before I reply to a comment or even a text,I read it twice to understand what the writer or sender means to avoid misunderstanding.

Side Note: Ji Chang Wook and I share a birthday 5/7, am his noona by just 3 years so you know he has a special place in my heart as an actor and as a human being..I have no reason to criticise him..

Oh yes I did watch Behind Your Smile for Marcus Chang same ML from Lost Romance (yes call me superficial) but it's hard to get good Taiwanese dramas so I stayed for the long story that actually wasn't bad but not memorable except Marcus' visuals.. definitely swoon-worth.

I will check out your recommendation..Am on drama sabbatical leave,I will add on my shameless long list of TWL that is not religiously followed..If I find something good I will watch even it's not on there.

Yes..get past the Ship scenes then you will understand why it's rated 8.4 on MDL ,7.7 on IDMb and 7.7 on Prime,which is high for a Republic Era trope
