Hahaha I was trying to remember that quote when I was writing my review..let's just agree that she really managed to pull off the comic part without looking cartoonish(I love you Zhao Lusi but you know which dramas am talking about)
I just finished it (05-2025) And in my quest to find dramas that stay away from the repetitive tropes..I found this short with a straightforward FL character who is not a damsel in distress..It looked like it was a mid production budget wise but they managed to get everything in thee without losing the plot.. To be honest am satisfied..I have wasted 36 episodes on worse
I tried to watch this all the way through, but I'm dropping at episode 11. It's too goofy and disjointed, and…
I pride myself to have watched hundreds of Chinese drama and I have seen a fair share of childish, pouting baby voice characters but this was not one of them..I read your comment before I watched the drama and I waited and waited for her to do that and all I got was a badass FL,the most straightforward character I have ever seen..
How can I describe this drama that I binged watched in one sitting?
1.Good thing comes in small boxes(Tiffany rings for eg.)
2.Every now and then c-drama writers wake up and decide that weed is illegal and they write beautiful cute unchinese drama(not the usual repeated tropes)
3.I will need some Botox to fix my smiling lines caused by crazy punchlines..
4.How did the FL character get pass the big Brother a.k.a censorship Bureau cos they surely don't like badass, straight forward, smart, not childish women cos this one ate and left no crumbs.
5.If you are looking for a quick, funny,no angst, annoying side players,a weekend laugh that leaves you satisfied..It would have been 24 full episodes and I wouldn't have complained at all
I totally agree that it is tropes lite and an easy watch. I just can't quite shake the feeling that they danced…
Japanese writers don't know the meaning of safe but they definitely did on this one. The other day I watched one of RY movies called "The Wonderer".my head is still processing it
Ryusei Yokohama is my Japanese version of Ji Chang Wook they would play a snail and I would watch.. This is one of those Jdramas with little wtf tropes and I loved it
On behalf of the 1% who have not watched this drama, thank you.Every time I see a real unbiased review of RL..Am proud of myself for maturing and knowing how to seed out popularity and depth. Queen of Tears falls in this category
Am in the 1% who have not watched this drama not because of whatever is going on but it was everywhere that I feel like I already watched it..same with Goblin and WLGT
Hi, can somebody tell me if you recall a korean/chinese drama where a Handsome tall CEO's Son falls in love with…
OMG @Jamesny29 you are like me when am looking for a drama,I will go to the end of the earth to find it..Now am curious to find this drama cos I love noona romance.. Also if anyone knows where I can watch "Ice World" 1999 with English Subs I will but them a lunch..I saw an edit on Xiaohongshu and I haven't rested
Looking at your list,I think I have found my fellow Ju Ji Hoon fandom..am stalking this man shamelessly
Everyone is triggered nowadays for small things even if it's a joke.. But to be honest we are all stalkers of good dramas from our fav actors, there is nothing wrong with this..
Beautiful articulated. As someone who have experienced this topic closely (a former colleague) this drama gave me a glimpse to what goes on before a person makes this decision.. Out of the 1000 way to die,I hate this one more and it always a heartbreaking moment whenever I see anyone or celebrity in the news chose this way(I don't think I will ever recover from Song Jae Rim). These type of projects that are not afraid to tackle sensitive topics are hard to find and you wonder how they really passed the Big Brother's axe πͺ
