Every now and then,am in the mood of short and spicy drama with a certified red flagged but redeemable ML. Add a no nonsense FL who won't take his BS,give them twins that the dude didn't know they existed and you get my attention for 5 hours.Also it doesn't hurt that the directors picked Dao Gao Zhang serving gym bod to the fan service..These two should just exclusively do their own dramas.3 projects in less than 2 years.
I love the new mature romance dramas that are being released. Though I don't watch fresh off the oven dramas,I had it on my list as soon as it aired and was eagerly waiting for it to be complete.
The idea of reversing roles and make the FL a CEO and the ML her secretary or assistance is a welcome change we needed. And it worked well seeing how popular this became,it shows that people are tired of the same old cliché.
Overall it was sweet and We learnt excessively about Headhunting and a new trope that is not
New concept and I loved it.It really makes you think how much we are connected to our gadgets that we dont even hear the sounds of the cities anymore. Its a bout falling in love the old school way. No wonder the older generation's relationships lasted longer,they worked hard to be together. Thank you JApan for always coming through with these envelop pushing concepts.
To say I watched EVE for the plot,i would be lying,the last cutthoat revenge trope i watched was Penthouse and they havent been able to replacate anything like that except probably The Glory. Anyway am a big fan of Seo Yea Ji and i guess I was craving for anything with femme fatale or probably tired of weak FLs from cdramas. This was an intense watch,on the chemistry level,I have never held my breath on scenes like this one. All the actors did a wonderful job but Ms Seo and Yoo Sun who played Han Sora went the extra miles. I havent had a SML syndrome in awhile and I picked one here wishing there was a love connection btween Eve and Attorney Seo Eun-Pyung,Am sure many people fell in love with his character. He was the calm in the revenge storm. I dont understand the low ratings,I trully believes it deserves to be in the 8.0 mabe people who watched it while it was airing can tell me. Some times shows drop ratings due to some other factors that are not related to the story or the acting. I agree there was some holes that were not covered but the ctors really carried the plot

I agree with you..He did everything,his character growth was epic while she remaines flat.People say that chinese directors and writers hate women,am starting to think so. As for the intimacy if you are a cdramas watcher you already know the frustration on this part.we have just learnt to use our imagination

Every scene both ML,FL 2ML 2FL and the supporting cast rocked some serious tailored outfits
I particular enjoyed the concept of having two dramas in one..And everyone played their roles to
perfection.There was this balance in the story that slowed the leafs ti shine more.
I honestly believe the story would have ended at Ep 28,I k ow the other 2 were for
connecting the fiction and reality but I don't think it was necessary.
Overall am glad I gave this a try.I leave with no regrets
