Thank You @Elbee for the bee gift.. unfortunately I don't know how to thank you directly..I have wrote quite a number of reviews this year and this is for sure the best one..I laugh myself when I read it cos like what was I on?
I read half way through the review and am adding this to my next watch after "Stand or Fall" I will leave it there then read the rest when I come back..I want to surprise myself
@Zogitt recommended this months ago but somehow I only watched it after "Dear Enemy" and I loved the comedy and the attention to details. It was down to earth with regular folks doing regular things..It taps more into failed relationships like divorce on both sides, single parenting and the usual suspects of family and social pressures. I also wish the told us the love story of the main leads..Though I loved that they gave us more of the 2 leads love story and it's ups and down..I personally like this couple. And let's talk about how beautiful and healthy is the actress who plays Xia Meng.. Thank you again for a great review
I remember watching this and telling my friends that this drama perfectly represents what almost every woman is going through in 2025. It honestly felt like we’d all had the same conversations in real life, which made it even funnier 🤣
I think that’s why it hit home for me and why I really appreciate the writing. The marriage storyline was messy in the most realistic way and gave me way too many flashbacks.
My personal redemption is her relationship with the doctor. It’s been a long time since I genuinely rooted for the second male lead to get the girl( No spoilers) I liked the male lead as an actor, but his character summed up exactly what’s out there with men his age. That’s a personal vendetta 😆 I can see that relationship falling apart from a mile away.
Do I wish hers and the Doctor's story had been given more time? Absolutely. The time and budget spent on shooting the reality show could have been better used to create more meaningful encounters and development.
Now, looking at the points you mentioned and re-analizing my thoughts ,I’d bring down my rating by 4 points and rate it 8.6
everybody praised the drama for its romance lol. it’s finally some mature one without fishy kisses and weird…
Healer and K2 were my intro to Ji Chang Wook's world and I never left.though I loved Healer more than K2.I have heard of the last two..I would check them out..
You are right..if romance is thrown in from nowhere then it looks off.. I also appreciate thrillers where leads just have strong chemistry and tension even if they don't push to romance.. like "Bloodfree" or "The Veil"
Thank you, my friend. This is not a very popular drama but I like the leads and it's a fun business drama. I like…
Am on Ep 8.. I have been binging on female centric, and so far the two that I have watched were so good that this one is keeping up with them but the leads are one of my fav especially the FL .so I think the screen lights up whenever they are together..Have you had a chance to watch "Dear Enemy" or "Delicious Romance"
Thank you for this review..Am back in Dramaland after few months if a well needed break and I feel like I want to only watch female centric dramas or tough topics with good writing and MATURE/OLDER leads so this up my alley.. Your reviews always tell it all with no biasness
Story: A topic that is less exposed Acting: 1000/10. Writing: 100/10. Short: 18 EPs. Eye rolls: FL's mother (I have questions 😱😡 Questionable: The verdict Dark: Medium,it's not as dark as it sounds.
Overall: 9.3/10
Congratulations the Leads for winning the Tencent's Actor of the year for his performance in this drama..I couldn't agree less.. Everyone kicked ass but they were outstanding especially Zhang BinBin

The actress’s storyline, though, felt underdeveloped and unexplored, which was disappointing because it had the potential to be both a lesson and an exposé on the dark side of trying to make it in the film industry.
