If you're looking for a fast-paced story plot with a big main story or big challenge, this is not for you. But…
I know this is three months later but if you haven't picked it please try again, am very picky and fussy with dramas but this is some of the best writing I have ever seen..It's a 16 episodes, one hour long but by the time you reach the end ,we all wanted more ( watched in Viki with timed commentators)
Be Melodramatic,2019 Date completed: 12/04/2026 Rating: 9.3 This is one of the best K-dramas out there Writing:10/10 The dialogues:100/10 Characterization: 10/10 Star character: Son Beon Soon played by An Jae Hong OST: 9/10 Yes we all know the shampoo song Guest appearance Appreciation: Son Suk-Ku who played Dir.Kim Sang Soo, a.k.a Mr weird I wouldn't mind season 2, I think it would even be better than Sn1
I prefer this type of lighting over the harsh Netflix blue lighting
I stopped watching Netflix in the 1900s so I don't remember but this one makes the drama look like daytime TV back in the 2000s according to my eyes that it..
You've been trying to bait me into a fight for weeks. What do you want from me? What did I EVER do to you? Do…
Am referring to Kbeauty.. I can't profile her age but I can tell that she has lots of time..Lime who has that energy..So I just ignored, and didn't even open whatever she wrote.. Replying fuels the whatever is driving them

Am happy to see that actually there are people on this app who should get checked by a psychiatrist..She tried with me on "Lovely Runner" an old comment I made just appreciating one reviewer for being unbiased...But I have one rule, I can spot toxicity and a keyboard warrior,a mile away and I give them one reply and promise them that it will be my only and last one . I just ignore them.. In this economy, who has this much time
On Ep 3, and watching this after Judge vs Judge was not a good idea.. Though they are both the same concept but Only Dong IL brought the A game,Maybe I was expecting L to character to be like Yeon Woo Jin's but nop. Unfortunately I will have to drop it and try something else more exciting.
I’ve been so disciplined avoiding reviews while dragging myself through all 40 episodes (yes, dedication 😅), but you really said everything I was thinking.
There were way too many subplots that just… went nowhere. Like the whole financial scandal/arrest arc, that could’ve been such a strong turning point, especially to show traditional media rising back up. Instead, it vanished like rain on hot pavement.
And the romance… was there even one? 😭 The buildup was there, I’ll give them that, but the complete lack of physical connection made everything feel so dry. A few Google clicks tell you that most of the the cast are married with kids, I kinda knew we weren’t getting much anyway lol. But that FL air-peck moment? Yeah… I physically recoiled. I swear I almost saw my brain 😂
Qin Hailu- Zhang Duo' s storyline in that department was even more disappointing, honestly. Thet did well as "Olympians" than lovers.
Meanwhile, I was way more invested in Chai Biyun and the OCD boss dynamic, they had that perfect opposites-attract energy and could’ve easily carried their own drama. The fact that he is a stage actor and has very few TV work, and he pulled his role to perfection.
Overall, the acting and production were solid as expected, but the writing? Such a missed opportunity. This could’ve been a total banger if they’d just committed to developing those storylines properly.
