very beautifully worded! There were clearly places where the support characters and css could have handled the situation on their own. Certain situations were made to make css shine and other for lby. Where there were clearly other prospects where the main leads could have shined according to their strengths and without ooc. This would have given more depth to the series as well.

Part of the reason i liked the emperors character was be he was unbiased (except the matters of LBY) in his rule. And here comes one CP and tells a nostalgic story, and boom! the king gets convinced and doesnt convict wang chun like every other cdrama where the emperor does the same. I know this is a plot device to show how css is still a kid/not aware of a lot of things and lby's dark side of how he sort of manipulates her. But im still disappointed in the king. The crown prince is literally unfit for his role, and even his own mother knows that. I understand css wont understand it at this point, and she'll understand it eventually as she grows up like with the hua county incident. She was so affection starved and she doesnt want to see the empress upset, the only person who treats her right. It would have been ooc if css didnt do this. definitely minglan. same writer so its recommended after lltg is done. not recommending you to watch now cus our mind is set on lltg hehe. youll enjoy minglan even more if you watch it alone (not while waiting for lltg, just my experience lol. i watched wrtw in the meantime, my mind kept going to lltg. pretty sure i would have enjoyed more if i watched it later)
I started watching wrtw to kill time...it was actually damn good in the start but i still kept coming back to lltg. then later half of wrtw wasnt done well so i kinda of rushed it and got it over. If i had watched it some other time i might have enjoyed lool
