Unfortunately parents like that set their kids up for failure. I get it parenting is difficult, at the same time, you are not your child's best friend. Once upon a time, I told my daughter, I don't have time for all the craziness of teenagers because I have enough on my plate already. It wasn't because she did anything wrong but earlier in the day at work I listened to the complaint of a parent going on and on about his daughter the same age as mine and in the same grade. To my surprise, my daughter took my words to heart. She later told me she often told her friends she cannot afford to get in trouble because her mom was too crazy, that if she says something, she means it. I couldn't help laughing.

There is time for parents to love their kids and their is time to be strict. Putting the fear of God in them is not a sin. Letting them know you don't tolerate nothing too is important RTZ knows that whatever he does his mom will always defend him, so he does whatever he wants and gets away with it. Shame on her!

For the record, even though I'm not a violent person, I really want to kick Li Chi where it really hurt. I mean the nerve of the guy😠😠😠We get it you have nothing positive to contribute to the work of the department, yet you are trying to sabotage them? Excuse him😠😠😠what a cheeky bastard ! Even though it would be a waste of life line to remove him from the department, believe me, its totally worth it at this point. An empty barrel that think he's all that😠😠😠 Shameless!!!

In regards to XY and XYS, XY is being caution because she thought he had a relationship with CS at the HQs and she's also mindful of what she told her grandpa about not getting married. I can wait for her to let go of all the barriers she put between them and accept it.

Most father's are very strict with their sons especially their first son. But, they have a very different relationship with their daughters. The drinking scene was epic. It was evident that RXZ didn't teach his son like that. They showed RTZ sitting on the steps and watching the interaction of his dad and TT. He saw a total different person looking at his father and TT. He also saw that even though his father might love him as his son, the bond between his father and TT is very special. I really loved that scene.

That's the problem with petty people. How would he accomplish greatness without a good heart and no sincerity towards others? Like Shalmali or someone said earlier, being poor does not mean you should be dishonest or nasty. One thing I know is that a person without integrity either rich or poor, is a worthless human being. Ones capability as a person does not make you a good person. But, ones character defines who you are.

Yet the crazy mother that TT is corrupting her son. Delusional fool😒😒😒

My favorite scenes were Ms. Doug and Rebecca's scene. That's why I appreciate dramas that enlightens. Rebecca lacks empathy because she closes the path to her emotions. Once upon a time, I only felt a sense of responsibility towards everything nothing else. It was not until one day I was deeply hurt and I was taught a lesson. I then learned that I needed to have emotional connections to life and I started taking steps build the connections. Years later I found the emotional connection in an entire different field from the one I studied. Now I've found my calling and what I was meant to do😊😊😊

My second favorite is the elders discussion of how one faces challenging is life. I understand before a person that is meant to be great in life can achieve that greatness, he/she has to go through so many tests in life. As long as that person does not give up, he/she would be victorious. I so much appreciate the life lessons taught in this drama😊😊😊
Lastly, I knew the ginseng didn't grow legs and walked away. What do you expect from the son of a father like Mr. Liu? How did he raise the kid?

I already knew he was a scumbag. I think he's envious of TT and RTZ as successors . He also knew adult scumbag Mr. Liu would used the school to get the students to help him get the ginseng to get both TT and RTZ in trouble. ZLQ is a dirty son of gun. Petty people are shameless. Unfortunately, everyone treats him with sincerity especially RTZ, but what does he do?

I thought I was the only one that screamed, is this woman crazy, or is she very crazy? I would like her to define "obedience." I wanted to slap her crazy when she said that. What a nerve! All he does is lie, lie, and lie to his family, which they know but pretend all is well. The delusional woman knew when the character and behavior of both her precious son and TT were evaluated side by side, her son would be found wanting.

RXZ has treated TT like a long lost daughter from the moment they met. They have a sort of connection that he doesn't even have with his son. Like a father-daughter love kind of feeling. Apart from TT being the descendant of his master's teacher (hence her senior aunt title) he does see her as a daughter. He sees that in spite of her naughtiness, she's hungry for knowledge and she doesn't need much help to accomplish so much.

Honestly, I'm kind of scared to watch today's episode. It's going to be a catastrophe for the lack of a better term.

In ep. 9, why would XYS say XY is wayward? Perhaps the translator used the word loosely. The word wayward is a strong word that is not used politely. She could be called naughty or silly but never wayward.

I think his stupidity stems from being entitled all his life. He said it himself that he has been living like the crowned prince all his life. His thinking faculties have never been used for anything productive other than to play. I bet he will get bored soon enough and move to other things.

I didn't watch that drama. I think its a generation thing. That height of stupidity is astounding. There is no difference between a high school graduate and an elementary school graduate where I come from unless you use that certificate to go further either in a technical school or in a university. Unfortunately, that's what the society recognize, kids wants to be better to be able to speak among their friends and parents wants to boast of their children's accomplishments. At the end of the day, what you achieve as an individual is yours to make you proud and stand out among your friends and in your family.

Today's first episode introducing other couples was beautiful. Despite XX's reservations about LQ's background, she cares for him. It would be a lot of sacrifice for her to be with him at the end of the day. PSY and Rebecca, on the other hand, are a good match. Because PSY's parents are sending him on blind dates to get married quickly and produce their grandchild, while Rebecca wants a blood relative. Moreover, the two are friends, and PSY is a Peaediatrist. What more can she ask for?
My main concern for ep 20 is the stupid capitalist owner of the industrial park. How dare he get the children in trouble? As if they aren't bad all by themselves? He is a freaking adult. What's wrong with him? I don't trust that guy. It might all be a lie. He might just be taking advantage of the situation upon hearing of the wild gingseng. Moreover, he said the guy that introduced him was an old friend. Didn't he do his homework before investing in them? Also, why did he have to come to the mountains to meet Mr. Ren when he would be returning home in a couple of days? I don't trust that shady guy.
