I don't feel sorry for Jin Chao's mum, she should die so I don't have to see such a spineless character on my…
That's what happens when one marries outside one's social class. Her husband lives on her wealth and even dares to marry a concubine with her money. Yet he condemns the merchant's daughter for his shortcomings, but he doesn't condemn her money.
He's trying to outdo YX. But Chen forgot he had saved her so many times, and he's special to her in a different way. However, YX has been putting his best foot forward since he hurt her to make amends for what he did. Unfortunately for both of them, JZ doesn't see them as love interests.
I thought she was a good match with the nephew Xuan Qing and it's kind of weird knowing she's going to be with…
Do you think the uncle will let his nephew marry the girl he (uncle) likes? I think he suspects his nephew likes JZ, hence the sudden marriage to the family of the other person, who knows his true identity.
He has saved her thrice now, and he subconsciously drew a picture of her. I was curious why he sent for her when…
In all sincerity, YX really loves her because she stands up to him, unlike other girls in the Capital who bow to him. JZ doesn't give a crap about his title or whatever he stands for. To make matters worse, her cousin related to him said that because he calls YX "uncle", he's her uncle too. That really ticked JZ off. She gave him a "over my dead body" look when he said that. YX wouldn't make a good match for JZ. She needs a stronger-spirited person whose personality topples hers. Remember at the Academy when she really made him angry, and he subconsciously took out his wipe and hit her. Imagine those two as married couples; they would surely burn the house down when they are upset with one another. Also, from what we've seen of YX's character so far, I think his rudeness, arrogance, and hot temper aren't truly his real personality. Did you notice that when he spends time with the CP, he lets go of all pretense and enjoys himself? The only person who can make him be himself is JZ. Even as friends, she can make it happen.
For me, I found that they made her way too smart lol became a bit unbelievable
I think her character is similar to that of "The Rise of Ning". Unlike other girls in the Capital, she was raised in an environment where she was free to express herself. She doesn't need to pretend to please anyone. Her grandma employed tutors for her education and other things. She's just like the FL of " The Perfect Crown". They both stand out because they are not ordinary.
For the first time in ever I actually have ship all the males with the FL, usually I only ship 1 or 2 in the RH.…
He has saved her thrice now, and he subconsciously drew a picture of her. I was curious why he sent for her when he finished drawing the portrait. But, he quickly cautioned himself. Why would he send for her in the first place?
What Lord Ye's sister said about the Gu girls was totally out of line. Just because his brother is their family heir, the Gu girls are not good enough for him? She must be completely out of her stupid mind. In terms of achievement for himself or accomplishment for that matter, he's nothing to write home about. He's a useless son of a gun living on his father's achievements. To make matters worse, he's rude, arrogant, and ill-tempered. So, who in their right mind will fall in love with such a man?
My god, that nanny is just plain vicious... I'm eagerly waiting for her demise
That makes two of us. I think without her, the concubine isn't an evil-minded person, but the nanny keeps doing bad things, saying it was to support the concubine and her daughter. She needs to go, seriously.
Why is FL and 2ML interactions always so dramatic lol.
There is a saying about when two hot irons meet, sparks fly, or something. They're both hot-tempered individuals, so they create combustion every time they meetπππ
I didn't watch the trailer. But I was able to figure out the four men now in Ep. 7. Unfortunately, three of them are in denial at this time. Especially her cousin, who was so close to her. They bicker like old couples (Ep. 7)π
the way Jin Chao talk to Ye Xian is like she is talking a her petulant little brother
That's even better than the way she speaks to Lord Chen like her naughty uncle (Ep. 9). I don't think anyone has ever spoken to LC like that. I was laughing so hard. I think LC is seriously smitten because he has this lovely smile whenever he talks about her. Even his companion commented on how he had changed since associating with GJH. Also, your "petulant little brother" is also incandescently in love πππ(Ep. 9, Temple scene)
This is a beautiful story with the appropriate ending. I seriously commend the time and effort spent in creating HSM's costumes. The grandest of them all was the wedding outfit and accessories, which were truly a remarkable work of art. Kudos to the creator!!! The drama itself, in a way, is a lesson for viewers to evaluate themselves and see what drives them. In our world today, people are driven by so many vices. While some obsessions are healthy, others are not, and the unhealthy ones lead to more trouble for the individuals. At the end of the day, is it worth it to lose control of oneself for momentary happiness or without peace of mind?
