I truly enjoyed watching this drama. Even though the genre stated it was about law and drama, the romance made a big difference. Some of my favorite scenes were when machine Shen confessed his love, the band-aid faces at the court hearing, and when he told his family he was in a relationship; he was beaming like a 5-year-old proudly showing his mom the smiley face he got in school.

I thought so too. How can her daughter be like other kids her age when her mom refused to let her be. Most kids are sickly when they're little but outgrow it as young adults. But, some moms just refused to accept that.

I remember him in Shine On Me, but her not so much in The Best Thing. She wasn't the best friend, or was she? I can't seem to place her.

This drama was an amazing work of art. A sincere appreciation to all the talented crew who created this masterpiece.
One of my favorite scenes was when Chang Yu accepted being the Grand Tutor's goddaughter. The old man was so moved by her acceptance that he shed tears of joy. Another scene was the David-and-Goliath battle. It was like a rendition of the bible story. It was unbelievable. Just like the Shi brother underestimated the butcher girl, the Prince did too, and his death was more brutal because he experienced what she does for a living. Lastly, the bathhouse scene, that was certainly a "wow" scene.
I commend this beautiful work.

I think having her by his side is all that matters to him right now. Remember, he told her before that he didn't care about dying in battle, but now he wants to live. I know in his heart he wished the war was over and they are back in her little village where life was simple and they were happy.

Poor man, he wants his woman by his side, but she's not ready yet. She has her own things to do.

She doesn't understand the gravity of what she did. I'm still baffled by the "David and Goliath" scene. I've rewatched the scene over and over again just to understand her determination in dealing with the giant who threatened to kill her husband and kill her as well. This man has killed thousands of men on the battlefield, just like his brother said. But it took an angry woman to take him out. The irony of it all, she came at him with two butcher's knives.
For that battle alone, she has a special place in my heart.

Why on earth is YZ still keeping his identity? Doesn't he think she can handle the discovery? I thought he was the one waiting in the tenth. She is so going to be mad at him for a long time. Let's see how he plans to reveal himself.

Just perfect. This is how a good drama should be, short and sweet!

She's already smitten with her man, so no one else can take his place. Didn't you see how she was boasting to the elderly man?

It's so obvious that his older brother totally resents. It seems he was giving the heir apparent title because his older brother is sickly. Are they princes or something, because their guards always refer to them as "Your Highness"?

My point exactly. He instigated the bandit group to avenge him, and he got their second son killed. Why didn't the sister see through his stupidity and deal with his sorry behind?

I think MQY was smitten the first time he saw Zhao. You could tell when her fiancé came. He could stand for absolutely no good reason. Remember the stunt they pulled to get the poor guy to break the engagement? And when Yuzhi showed interest, he made sure to put him in his place.

I loved their scenes together the most.

The writer is obviously a sick son of a gun. Why was that killing spree necessary? To take revenge on the butcher girl and the Marquis? Remember, the girl whopped his sorry behind on the bridge, and the Marquis shot him an arrow as he was falling. He's just pathetic.

Such a beautiful production with some beautiful moments and some very sad ones. One of the funniest ones was when MQY thought he was going to get one night of passion, but they were interrupted, and Zhao was saved. Also, I recalled all the shameless things MQY did to keep Zhao by his side. He's a real piece of work :) One of the painful moments was when the two-faced Lord Qi punished Zhao, even though he was the mastermind behind all the heinous crimes committed across the sects. Moreover, his justification for all he did was so stupid. He painted the Demon Sect as evil to the world, yet he was the Lord of Hell.

Wow, that's totally uncalled for. Is she in a relationship with her first date? Because if she were, he wouldn't have introduced her as an acquaintance rather than a friend.
