Here, it was the son-in-law that the minister loved as a son because of his daughter. In Fighting for Love, it was the adopted son that the mom even wanted to marry her daughter.
I don't think the countryside is safe because you still have to deal with the local champions. who want to bring your family down because they are intimidated by your wealth if you are a local business owner doing very well.
Come to think of it, Minister Shen didn't do anything wrong, but the son-in-law, because of his greed, selfishness, and evil ambition, connived with bad people to put the lives of innocent people at risk. He also has a secret of going to a special brothel, or why would the lady of the place call him "Dear" if he's not a regular customer?

That's badass assassination just like how Ruyi assassinate in A Journey to Love. Even before the victim realized what was happening, he was already dead. Mad skills!

Sometimes, life has to make sense for mortals like me to understand it. It is an unsuccessful fight for love because nobody got the girl. It is just like the Korean Drama Mr. Sunshine, where three men supported, loved, and died for a girl. Sometimes it hurts when love doesn't make sense.

This is a beautiful drama. Short and sweet. This is what a short series drama should look like. I've seen Dai in a lot of short series, especially Republican Era dramas. I'd love to see him in a traditional historical one.

My thoughts exactly. I think she was too good for Yizhi. CYQ would have been a better match for her. I think they are more suited. I was kind of disappointed with the ending because the better guy didn't get the girl, and she was all alone at the end. So, where was the Fighting for Love? I love the scene where CYQ brought the whole combat team to tell her there would be peace for a few years. That was so funny. He could have sent a messenger or a pigeon, but he wanted to see her. Remember when the little brother asked him what type of girl he liked? He couldn't give a definite answer until he knew she was a girl and fell hard for her. Perhaps if their countries weren't enemies, they might have a chance if she wasn't still in love with YZ. To me, it is not really a happy ending for the lovers in the love triangle.

I understand what you mean. I was just shocked. I thought about it a lot today, and I found it funny that the most beautiful things aren't planned for. Moreover, babies are naughty; they tend to go where their parents don't know their left hands from their right.

Episode 26 pregnancy scare threw me off. In this day and age, accidental pregnancy shouldn't be a thing when there are preventions for use before and after the game, no matter the situation. I had a screaming episode because of that scene.
In a way, it was so funny. I never thought the story would go in that direction. In real life, it would be difficult for Yinyang to be accepted by Guo's family if he got her pregnant in this situation. If she were my sister, I would say NO. If she's my daughter, it's HELL NO😁😁😁

You know business people are in business for the money. So, IQIYI will cater to the culture of where they operate. I've seen some BL dramas from IQIYI Thai, and it is what it is. Curiosity gets me to watch Thai BL most of the time, and if I can pass the first episode, I go for it. One of my favorite was La Pruie, to me it was a beautiful drama.

I understand your sentiments. C-drama BL is about true friendship, trust, and loyalty. I also watched A League of Noblemen out of curiosity and totally enjoyed it.
Every country has its own way of presenting itself to the world. While one country can present BL without any sexuality in it meant for a particular audience. Other countries might define BL differently. All in all, the audience has options to choose from. Isn't that beautiful😊😊😊

This is an amazing story of adventure, friendship, and a quest to save the world. Giving up something or oneself to create a peaceful world seems to be the theme of the Sword and Fairy series. I'm glad I watched both 4 and 6.

It's a beautiful drama of friendship that stood the test of time. True friendship does last a lifetime if friends stay true to one another no matter what. I appreciate the love that this drama portrays between childhood friends. It is somewhat difficult today to see a strong bond among friends.

This is a very interesting drama that depicts how parents' support or lack of support affects their children's lives, either intentionally or otherwise. Regardless of whether the decision is for the child's benefit or not, creating unnecessary traumatic experience for a child does affect their lives one way or another. Since there are no perfect parents or perfect kids, it's a tough battle for both parties.

I truly enjoyed this drama, especially how women are portrayed in the historical sense. A widow that moonlights as a female Robin Hood. An inn operated by a strong woman to support each other. It is a well-written story and the writer should be commended for a brilliant masterpiece.
