Grandma knew Huan would train the staff to be better and up to standard and make the place better, while Yao would let them go and change everything she loved about the hotel. Remember, Grandma said she loved them equally. Therefore, biological or non-biological factors have nothing to do with anything; it is a grandmother's love for her grandkids and their future.
