I'm so confused; this story doesn't make sense. First, she lost her job, and then she found out her boyfriend of three years had been cheating on her. She wanted to escape from the pain but didn't want to die to do so. As she was thinking about it, she received a call that she had won a ten-day getaway. During the ten-day vacation, she had a fling. After a one-night stand, she left without saying goodbye. She returned to move on with her life and met someone who proposed. She agreed to marry the guy and move in with him immediately. Based on her relationship with the jerk who cheated on her, she doesn't seem like the jump-into-the-moving car kind of girl. My question is, what prompted her to make that kind of decision? What is really going on with her now?
Shen Li in the midst of a love storm? It seems His Excellency is somewhat jealous of Mofang. The night two drowned their sorrows because of the lost weapon; XZ was not very happy she didn't come home. Also, overhearing Shen Li calling Mofang hers was too much for him. So, he sparred to get her to speak the truth. He wanted her to clarify her words publicly. Since he's the only one who can break the engagement, why can't he just break it off, for goodness sake?
This is a very touching drama, just like Love is Pancea. It is a life lesson that anything can happen to anyone at any moment. As humans, we do not have control over anything, even though we think we do. Because if the unexpected happens, life as we know it can change forever.
One of the songs, Talk Between Flowers by Zhang Zining sounds very familiar to me. I'm very sure the song was used in a recent historical drama I watched.
