I saw the poster! I feel like that was production's cheeky answer to the CP backlash🙃. If they film it like the book, there's still plenty of ships going lol.

I don't think WD was part of the filming of CHZ's engagement. & none his fans saw him there. I don't know what 'notices' they saw. But they were under the impression about a week & half ago he was filming the 'wedding', but there were no reuters, & it was supposed to have been shot indoors. Maybe they got the order wrong, like you said🤔.

If they do increase Xuyan, then Wu will have more scenes easily😗. There's another char who's important & will have screen time. SQJ gains a master called Xian Jianchen. He's an important char to the growth of SQJ, & his life 'mirrors' his. He's with him right till the end, unlike MHZ, WZY, & JC who will be separated from him. I wonder who'll play him as he's a quirky & sarcastic char who spars with SQJ, with mutual irritation...

Being honest, it's not the 1st time what they present at the conference for investment, is not what's delivered. Personally I think SQJ will still be the centre, but they will be adapting more emotional ties with the diff chars. The book is kinda sparse on that, so they will be adding it for the drama. I don't think Wu has the power to 'add drama'...However, his char's scenes are already kinda big, in comparison say to WZY or Ziyi. So he could turn out with more scenes out of the male supports that way. It's down to the screen writers to see the big picture😗.

It's confusing, WD's fans think he's already filmed the wedding scene with MY. While in the book, WZY doesn't go to the CHZ/bro wedding, he stays in Qianqiu to keep watch. Plus he didn't want his bro recognising him, & he was supposed to marry CHZ orig. If he's there too, that's another change they've made...

If LQ's gone for 20 days, no wonder there's more scenes of her now. So if yesterday's 'wine' scene was changed to it being a dream. It works, as it keeps SQJ as he is but explains MY's regrets??

I haven't read the beginning yet, so I'm not sure of the sequence. I heard MY x SQJ's union came 1st but she marries WZY later (poss after SQJ's gone?).

Some say WD is there, but indoor scenes, like the wedding filmed last week. Is he expected to be part of this rumoured 'wedding wine' scene🥶. Some of the fans are really against it.

The clips of CHZ's engagement banquet fit what was in the book really well. I also feel CHZ's vibe fits SQJ too🤣. This drama is gonna be hilarious with how many ships that can be folded among all the chars...

I thought WZY & MY's wedding was already filmed last week (indoors)? Yeah, apparently they were married in the 1st life, prob loveless... The Song Courtyard bromances still stand with the 3 after SQJ re-births. Actually, it's 5 when you inc- Ziyi, Lin Feiyuan, & Ji Chen😅.

I not sure if they removed it, but there were leaks today of what looks like SQJ giving a sword to MY in a red room setting, maybe it's another scene tho.

The production sounds big with them moving to Guizhou & Xinjiang, plus a planned variety show. That'll mean they'll be on this until Sept now🤔.

I heard there's a plan to film SQJ & MY's wedding, when there was none in the book. Looks like they want to create more of an emotional bond. Also, I really, really hope it's not to create a love triangle with SQJ/MY/WZY, that's too clichéd. There's push-back but I don't think they'll change their plans tbh.

Wow, it's hard for the cast/crew to be outdoors, lugging gear, & trekking every day in that wet humidity. Maybe (maybe) RZS fell ill from that, while DD lasts longer cause he's healthier. Hopefully, the scenes are done now.
Guizhou looks even further. Does that mean they'll all move from Hengdian to that town?

If they go with the visuals on the concept video, it'll be amazing & so perfect. It's what I imagine when I read those parts, too.

I'm also curious about SQJ's disguise, as he's like that for about 10 chapters. They prob won't give him prosthetics after what happened with WD. If they do, they're asking for trouble as the backlash will be even bigger🙃.

It sounds far for them to travel hours(?) to get there every day. The production seems serious with the settings. I wonder how they'll film the surreal scenes now.

It's like 'spot the prosthetic' now🥴. From what I see, & also what the photographers say, it's that he doesn't have anything on in these shots. I heard someone say there's still some on his nose, I'm not sure... but I think that's 95% him lol🙃 .

In WD's case, it's not over as that nose & chin could come back😏, as we have no idea/ context what the scenes were for. But because he's gone solo, it wasn't his agency or studio, but the fans who voiced it as a whole group. DD's fandom is bigger, if someone higher up on his 'supertalk' can coordinate together a respectfully written thing with the issues, to production, that could work better.

SQJ's supposed to have a beautiful and elaborate outfit made (reluctantly) by ZiYi WS. So they shouldn't miss that, as it's funny how that came about, and it's part of the dynamics of all the guys now at the Song Courtyard fighting amongst themselves. I really wonder if they'll keep in the interactions between them, as the book is really 'bromancy', ngl 😋.

I don't think WP will be dressed the same as SQJ, but he'll be in a cook/steward workwear, so like SQJ, be in some kind of 'beggar' clothes too😁, poss with a hat. Ji Chen might be the one who dresses finely out of them, as he's the naïve rich boy.

It'll be tricky to work around RZS as he has a lot of dialogue. At that 'meet', Yuan, ChenHZ & dad will feature again...maybe they were filming those latter parts to work around him not being available🤔 .

Lol, I'm not sure what they meant by 'disguise' now, cause we still see him clearly & so will the chars his hiding from😅.

I haven't read the 'Calligraphy Contest' bit, so not sure how it's described. But obviously if it's repeated that they change things & he's been done bad, then his fandom should speak up. BUT from what I've seen with WD's situation, they need to appoint someone to speak 'nicely' to production as a whole group. All the separate rants/insults will deffo not get them to the table. WD also had idiots who insulted the production staff, like that's not gonna to make them give you what you want, as the power is in their hands, unfortunately🥴.

I saw them talking about 'notices', are they legit with what gets filmed? I can't imagine DD getting less than 40% for the whole series, as the story's about his journey. It will deviate in bits to introduce back stories. I think RZS being unable to film will affect him as their beginnings are tied. This also inc scenes with WP, as RZS is pivotal there too... I wonder what production will do if he needs more time to recover.

DD & WD (when he joins as cook) will be in the same clothes for a while tho😏. But SQJ should get v.nice clothes when he attends the 'meets', as it's described in the book. & in the 'secret realm' he will have big extended scenes of his journey battling diff elements, even himself. I hope they'll film it like how they did the concept vid, as it matches with what the book describes it⚡⚡🤞🏻.

I saw some of the talk. Are they saying the Huawei Sect parts with the Yuan disciple is added (remember...I started this book from the middle🙊). & that RJS had his story altered, too?

Yeah, it won't be like 'TBL', looks like they're going for an old-school wuxia heroic look. SQJ should be dressed finely when he goes to these 'meeting' events in the book. But it seems like both DD & WD will be in down-to-earth clothes.

SQJ has a kind of 'mirroring' scene later, where he infiltrates King Wei's camp in the secret realm, funnily also as a cook (the book makes it a point that he was upset WP parted ways saying his cooking sucked). He will do the same, and wear a bracelet that conceals his face from WP... With the fuss some of WD's fans have kicked up, they may think twice about doing the same to DD rn 🤐.

I saw the screentime & clothing thing...& some saying they better not put those prosthetics on DD too🙃. Looks like the production has pissed off both of their fandoms rn..
