This hopped right into my Top 10 of "recommend to a newbie". I will say that my favorite part was Sensei Edokawa shaking his tush-tush into the camera only because I can just imagine the actor and the set rolling with laughter at they filmed that. All of the acting was fabulous but I am giving a slight edge to Alan because that teacher was uber-creepy.
I am so mad at all the BL teases. lol. Liked it overall. Everyone did a great job, especially at irritating me at how dumb they are. So mad that Kris is gonna die. And they were never clear on what caused the body swap in the first place. And what happens to Kris when he is not in the body. Also, what happened with all that money? Did Weng get it? Kris? A court battle with an obscure relative? Broke a piece off to all their friends? I also don't believe Weng got the girl in the end, despite all the flowery speeches. Except in the beginning, she showed absolutely no interest in him. She wanted what she was sold, his personality in Kris pretty face. And ain't nothing wrong with that. She is just not attracted to Weng. Also, how does Peng Hu keep avoiding jail? Does he keep trying to bully Weng or slink back home? I have so many unanswered questions. lol.
Sometimes Nut looked just a few years older, as he was supposed to be. Other times he looked like an old man hanging around young kids. At one point, Satha had a uni-brow. The filming of this was bad. Plus they threw in every LGBQT stereotype, and not in a cute way.
Another show with the girls being dumb af. At some point, they just need to teach the girls how to throw down in an emergency because of the way that they attract trouble.
One ML is dull and has the aura of an old man who has given up and is just plodding through the remainder of his life. By God, he is cute when he smiles though. The other ML is an entitled bully. And not just to his love interest, to everyone. I'm hauling ass back 👀 him in City of Stars where he has nailed the loveable rogue characters more thoroughly. It might even take me a MarKit cleanser to forgive this character.
This was boring. And I don't see this relationship lasting. It's got rebound relationship written all over it. I liked the little rituals but could have done without all the drinking.
It was wild seeing a sad Sammy in episode 3 but she proved that she got the chops. Especially since my sounds went back to the beginning about a quarter of the way through. Thank God for captions. I don't think that she answered the call because Jaidee wasn't part of the friend group in episode 2.
Huh. Gangsters that are halfway believable in a bl. Who'd a thunk it. But I spent most of the time with no clue on what was going on and having to mentally fill the gaps or get clues later on.
Not overly fond of cliffhangers but they did pack a lot into 2 short episodes. Would love to see this expanded out into a full bl. This has more of a bromance vibe.
If you're like me and tend to forget characters and scenes, watch all of these mini-episodes in one go. Caught a case of Second Couple Love on this one.
This was beautifully done and perfect for those who prefer these type of gritty romance. I prefer mine light on the trauma and heavy on the emotions so I had to push myself to even finish this. Frankly, from the description, I actually thought that it was gonna be a bl romcom. Allow to me to assure you that it is not.
Another victim of unlikeable girls and 2 weird age gap. At least they got it together in the end. They should have shown Pan as bi from the get-go. The ex could have easily been the dude instead. Dating an immature h.s. girl wasn't cute either. Wan deserved better than Min. And she gave up her scholarship for him?!?! He didn’t even do right by the swim club ffs. A year apart where he stayed loyal would have been the bare minimum. New and Earth, always yummy. If they're gonna continue the trend of recycling old shows, this one should be in the running for an update.
I would have been pissed at Ai for intentionally pulling back in the relationship. Still love Nhai being allowed to be babygirl. Missed Ai being the attentive caretaker.
So everyone gets a happy ending but Phai?!?! GTFOH frfr. And if Thanu was the end game, this shouldn't have been made so similar to the 2 Moons series. Eff that noise and just make it a different show altogether. What you do NOT do in the romance genre is break up a happy couple. Mostly finished watching for the Markit shaninigans, the swimmer/tutor, Phai, and what really happened between Thanu and Pabdlock. Wayu looked fire as a blonde.
