Despite it getting confusing in some parts, I was enjoying the yearning well enough until they inserted that sloppily done kidnap storyline towards the end. The rings storyline was cute though.
This one was a no for me. I wish they would have played it as a romance more than a supposed comedy. The bones were there to tug at some heartstrings but it was buried under all the sound effects.
Finally finished this. Started off interesting then proceeded to get more and more boring. Couldn't even switch to mentally thinkinf of it a crime drama rather than a bl because the assassin part was so nonsensical. Would love to see First and Joong in something else together.
Everyone else seems focused on the exes but my focus is on how Takashi switched from "I like when Miyata scolds me" in season 1 to "don't worry your pretty little head about that" in season 2. Not being able to address his concerns is what was really what was feeding Miyata's inferiority complex.
Omg! The first comment that agrees with me about Iwanaga. He was so much better in season 1 about letting Miyata speak his peace. This season, he was grooming Miyata to keep the peace by swallowing his true feelings. Thank you! I thought I was alone in this.
I don't get caught up on the age of the actors nor the characters. And the type of kissing means nothing to me. But I definitely could have done without that bit of machismo in the finale. Didn't stick the landing. The villain did do pretty good switching his persona though.

Which is why I estimated about 90%. It could be more. It could be less. Eventhough I don't think I mentioned any particular country, there is still no doubting that as of today, Thai BL is the bohemeth standard based on just sheer numbers though.

If you're referencing MODC, it's a special case all of it's on because it was BL-ing it's way to a happy ending until, suddenly, it wasn't...that's what made it extra devastating and pretty unique in the world of bl.
Japan use to be a roll of the dice with being either completely unhinged or absolutely wholesome. Anything in between was rare. Lately, they've been banking on sweetie pies more or less but I wouldn't be mad at a completely toxic jbl just to let em know Japan still got that juice. 🤣🤣

TBH, the two shows that you named, I didn't particularly watch as bl. I switched them mentally to shows with gay characters, which is not the same. BL is in gay stories of the romance genre and 90% of romances will have a hea and very few with the savage violence of HOTE. Once word spread of the violence of HOTE or the lack of HEA in Green Spirit, a drop off of viewership was a natural occurrence with many bl watcher.
A waste of both BoatOat and Omegaverse. With those two things, it was a guaranteed homerun and they still managed to fumble the ball. I believe the rumors that this was AI written.
I was initially only here for Ponlawit. Prince Chat was so humorously stupid. But Dad's acting caught me too. The best scenes scenes were the ones with Dad eventhough I hated his guts. Loved the historical context too.
Not my thing. Way too many gaps. Age gap. Power gap. Experience gap. Health gap.i was extremely turned off. Would love to see them in something else. Just not as a couple.
