If you take old school karate flicks, add in some anime like moments, and some After School Special lessons, you get Study Group. It was cute. A combination of both the shallow and the deep. The sensical and the nonsensical. And the visuals were fire.

The school was the seat of his power, granted to him by his father, as a proving ground as to whether or not he could be his father's successor. Not only was he charged with ruling the school, but he had to rule it quietly. This was further evidenced by his father washing his hands of him when he was expelled. He'll probably found a new way to be a menace, but that's for season 2. 🤣

Here I am, once again loving what others disliked heartily. 🤭🤣 Such a refreshing take on the Friends to Lovers in not really knowing who he was going to chose in the end. I even kept going back and forth on who I was rooting for. I think it is best watched as a binge but then the flashbacks get very annoying.

Took me a few episodes, but I liked it in the end. Fluffy Korean high school coming of age firsr love. And then there was the hot mess that was all of his sisters. 🤣🤣Everyone had growth in the end though.

The argument was about how he just casually threw it out there. Offering money first just made it worse.

After a lifetime of feeling like what he thought or wanted didn't matter, he finally found a safe space to express himself freely. There's naturally gonna be some bumps along the way as he adjusts after almost 30 years. But he is willing to reflect and apologize.

A lot of people caught the 2nd Chance trope, but bypassed an Extrovert with an Introvert. A popular guy who never had to work for a relationship with a quiet guy who didn't even know that they were in a relationship. The way they processed information differently was well presented. Now they both know that they have make it plain some communication errors do not continually arise.

This show was eh on wheels. I love a slow burn, but apparently I draw the line at a dry one. I should have been bawling with all the tragedy, but I was not even all that invested.

I see what they're trying to do, the just couldn't quite get there.
