This young mqn is so impressive everytime I see him on screen. He becomes a total different character in the dramas that I have seen. I expected him to have more main roles listed.

What a surprisng drama. It has an air of suspense and a feeling like nothing can work out well for the innocent characters even though they continue to be positive. I am plesantly delighted with the ending because I had my suspicion about the writers just continuing the sadness of it all with the ML. I'm grateful for the ending. I usually read ahead so i dont get stuck with a sad ending but I forgot and was already 15 episodes in before realizng "hey the writers really could end this not so happy ever after!" The story easily captures the attention and made me forget any precaution before proceeding ahead. So the ending is like a surprisng gift. Gomawo. 🙏💕

A really wonderful concept for orphans who go off to college. I loved it.

Well as Arnold Schwarzenegger says in True Lies 1994 "Yes but they were all bad." I dont see why this guy makes a big deal about it. It's either her or those bad men. 🤔

I really enjoyed this drama. The story is nice and I'm happy for this couple. I will watch for more vertical dramas. Not much of a soundtrack and the wardrobes are limited to maybe 4 sets of clothing but if it's a good story, its worth telling, I think. 😍💕

This drama had lots of beautiful and romantic scenery. The OST is touching. I enjoyed learning more about the prince who loved to dance and read in Joseon history. Real life, I think I wouldve fallen in love with this man. Sigh. I dont care if if the ending is very Disney like. This couple deserves a Happy Ever After. 😍💕

I am adding this drama to my list because I too (like other comments) want to continue laughing at how aweful this drama is but still good to watch! 🤣🤣🤣

Listed here on MDL, the characters Ren Hao Ming and Ruan Qing Tian have their own multi-universe in which they are strangers meeting over and over in similar movies but the movies are not a continual story... or maybe they are. Who knows where all of this will lead to. I am fascinated by the idea of it all although not the movies. The couple in this movie poke fun at the real actors (themself) having steamy scenes on screen, which is amusing.
If you watch this drama, you will know that Ren Hao Ming the toxic male that he is, deserves nothing good in this universe. Maybe their multi-universe is trying to tell Ruan Qing Tian to run away from this man when she see him! ✌🤣
Just a thought.

Teacher DongJu look of irritation at human love was the most endearing part of this drama. 🤣 I'm glad it has a happy ending and I dont have to pretend like I never watched it because it is a really cool love story with a interesting sound track. 😍💕

Since the SML is too young and should go live his dream, I'm totally team 3rd ML, Lee Joon mo who is also cuter. This guy Byun Hyung Tae as written has no loyalty nor commitment to his own emotions. He's even sad to make the decison to be with our FL and to leave that self centered woman. Like, just stay with that woman. Dont come dragging your miserable self over to our FL!
Nan nee, our perky, hardworking and honest FL deserve better in life than the writers gave her. Why anyone would think this relationship is the ideal childhood friends to lovers romance, I have no idea. Why would anyone try to compare this to 'Love Next Door'?

I like that this drama links two of my favorite dramas. The writers of True Beauty wrote another beautiful and memorable script. Thank you Lee Shi Eun. It also features clips of Olympic gold medalist Jang Mi Ran who the Kdrama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo was based on. All three leads in "Lovely Runner" have the same features as the leads in True Beauty and I dont believe that is a conincidence. I enjoyed the creative directors efforts to make the audience feel like we were also experiencing a parallel time with the characters. I thought at episode 9 that there are so many different timelines that it would make the whole story invalid but it all came together in episode 15. I feel happy watching this great love story. 😍💕

I'm trying to enjoy the scenery and other cast members. I have seen less attractive actresses who have talent and more attractive actresses who have less talent but are good FL. They look like they fit the role that they are acting in. The story that is being told is more important than who the actress is. I dont know who would be a good cast for the roll of Hongdou in this drama. From what you have described, I think there was a misalignment in casting if the casting director simply wanted her to have the role even though she doesn't embody the character. It's good for the brand and advertisement but not for the actual story telling. I feel like I have a six sense now, because I couldnt quite put my finger on why my eyes and ears rejected this cast member.

It continues to bother me that the FL looks more like a SFL, and she doesn't seem to fit this role to me. The drama is herald as relaxing but I have to avoid looking at the FL to enjoy the beautiful scenery and only look at the other actors during dialogue. It's just unfortunate that I think the character of Hongdou wasn't cast well and I dont know why. I wish I could simply agree with the other comments and reviews here.

I think the ending was exemplary of how a long distance relationship could work but I think she wants to stay in their hometown to work, too and he was helping to bring her back on the medical tourism project.

I just wanted to let the girlies know, it's not ok to dislike the FL just because Li Xian cry. 🤣 She made my Li Xian cry! Yes. That was my first reaction too but I like Jie. She's brave and cute. She was obviously trying to escape or cover up something. The mom couldve been more proactive if she is so worried about Jie getting victimized. Parents are the first line of defense if someone hurt their offspring. Like Grandma Chen. She'd fight the bullys for her grandson, Chen MaiDong! Grandma Chen is the best. I love that Jie and Chen Maidong still act like teenagers together. Their love is so cute. 😍💕
