Thread of rants while watching lol:someone needs to add the character death tag on this drama bc wtf??? this show…
The grandma stole the wrong profile. The tarot reading was on her brother Zhuang Yan, not Jie. If you get translation on the document that she held, you'll see his name and male. That is why her friend looked strange as if it was a BL couple, not a girl.
I think this drama missed an oppoturnity to explore advanced medical technology. The comotose Nam Shin could have experienced everything the AI robot experienced through virtual reality by cerbral and intravenous attachment to a computer. It would provide more data to the AI similar to the Matrix and help the patient to wake up from their coma . That would also make the romantic story between a robot and human more believeable similar to the ghost and human love stories, that I love so much. ππ I dont like this FL so far and im on episode 5. She is lacking in moral chracter and conscience, working for the villian and also disrespectful towards her parents. i almost empathized with her failures in life except she doesnt have empathy towards people that she should have empathy for and this family that she is working for. Even if she doesnt know she is working for the villian, she lack intergerity towards Nam Shin and his family even after he saves her life and totally ignore that the villian is also just the hired help. Which means her character is not very smart but is still an aggressive meathead. Prehaps she got hit in the head too many times in the fighting ring. That mother, Ms Oh, deserves her revenge.
Final Summary *(Amended post after finale episode) Throughout the drama, I never viewed Nam Shin III as a real person and thought he has a memory chip that can be duplicated so i dont understand the outrage from viewers at the mother struggling with her relationship towards her son(s). I empathized with the mother over all of the characters in this drama. Nam shin III as an AI actually fustrated me at one point, by not using his search engine to calculate variable outcomes to avoid situations that he could've prevented. He is a computer after all. The mother could've also just change his face but of course that would just be too easy for the writers and I agree that the real Nam Shin needed to be taught a lesson that he'd never forget. I thought Nam shin III was awesome and very handsome but still not real. At the same time I also thought the romance and love for something that is not real is possible and wanted the couple together in the end. I cant explain it. The actor Seo Kang Joon and writers of the drama did a good job at portraying the possibility of Nam shin III having compassion, loyalty, honor, being protective and trustworthy, which is love, just like humans can love without wanting or expecting love back. That is the selfless love that mothers often have and what many viewers probably expected from the mother but came unexpectantly from So Bong despite her previous display of character. She simply wanted to love and she did. ππ
Sigh. I want so bad to say "no comment" but I must. I'll compliment the composer for his work on this drama. The OST is lovely. This drama is based on a novel but I dont think the screen writer adapted the story very well. I am in agreement with most of the critics. The story line and chracters are all good but not because of the screenwriter and directors of this drama but because the orignial author wrote a good novel that was worth putting on screen. Unfortunately, the screenwriter wanted a good project but did not value the author's work at all or...prehaps the script was written by someone who is just learning to write fan fictions? Sigh.
You're not forced to read my comment just like you can't force anyone to like your music. Attempting to bullying people because they dont like your music is on par with the type of behavior depicted in the music that you love and it's history of intimdation and silencing those who disagree. Those men physically threatened Tipper Gore and Delores Tucker. I personally have not influenced anyone to do illegal actvitivy nor debarcheary for 50 years like the music that you love. If that simple difference makes me self righteous, then I accept being self righteous with honor.
I'm here for the story, not the acting or clothes. This is one of those stories, that made me pause for thought. Two things. Men using unsuspecting and/or silly women to get property. The ability of some people to lie and falsely accuse someone who is a friend or loved one, is mind-blowing. Even after their plans are exposed and thwarted, these two persist in stalking her. This drama is badly scripted and directed, but the story has merit that many will miss because it's badly scripted and directed.
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
I thought it was a beauiful story. Focus on the subject of family, not any couple ultimately being together. 70 year old Kim Hye Ja is actually the main character and the story is about her and Mr. Lee's family. Somethings, she remember accurately. Somethings, she try not to remember, but has a vivid imagination. I'll try not to give any spoilers because it is thought provoking and a majior twist that I think you have to experience for a better understanding of story.
In regards to the review, I did like this version of Wei Wei's personality better than the original personality. I just felt his social akwardness needed a much lively counterpart. Xiao Nai's office looks more like the office of a real gamer in this movie version but in the series, he was more into computer tech not just gaming. I didnt read the novel so I dont know which would be more accurate. I think the college campus looks more like a college campus in this version also. Maybe because they had actual snow. I'm smitten with the story and like both versions. Also nice to see Li Xian so there was no way I would pass on this movie. The elevator scene and the song "Don't Be Alone Anymore" by Lala Hsu, really melted my heart to pieces. ππ
Xiao Nai was a well thought out character that reflexs having professors as parents, having the discipline of always being prepared, doing his research and love for history. I appreciate that from the writers. I did not see this character as just a pretty face. I was not so much impressed by the character of Wei Wei but her personality as a supporting friend was endearing. Er Xi was actually more pretty. Just too wild!π€£. ironically, Xiao Nai fell in love with the back of Wei Wei's head and hands on a computer as any nerd would. π π
@owen3939, I am speaking about a genre of music and the creators of that music. Nothing eles. Nothing that I said is untrue. You shouldn't attempt to silence or bully people into not saying anything negative about something that they dont like by fasely accusing people (me). What you're saying is harmful to anyone who refuse to like rap music and the creators of the genre. You have shown a lack of honor and intergrity towards an honest discussion. I will not be silenced, nor bullied because I am a American where the rap music genre was created and I know the history and have seen its effects on soceity for 50yrears. We have freedom of choice and freedom of speech. You may get away with falsely accusing some people of racism to get what you want but not me. Do not tresspass on my rights to speak and choose.
I couldnt stop watching and the story keeps the attention, so much that I never realise that an hour has passed. Very captivating, thought provoking and leave the audience wanting more. Shi's wadrobe is beautiful and giving elegance. I'd want the doll, accessories and car for Christmas, please. π I'm grateful for the historical insight of the drama. Good job everyone and especially to the writers. π
2 ppl I really hate - Wei Daiqing & that Feng policeman. π€¬
Feng was the typical villian. Wei Daiquing, that weasel of a man! π€£ He made a lasting impression as the ideal villian who thinks he's the good guy and I wanted him to be or have some saving grace.
Yes, The older person would appear to be immature with suspicous intentions. A relationship with a age gap is totally dependent on the younger person's interests. In this movie, she's depicted as a wise old soul but is probably not in real life. π
Well I'm a girl and I remember having crushes on older guys in secondary school and in college. That was 30 years ago also. I think balding men are handsome now. βΊοΈ
