I wanted to make a review on this and I did but turns out it is against the rules to post any review before the…
You could post it as a new topic Discussion (above Comments / below Recommendations), and then just copy/paste it into a proper Review once the drama is over. Just be sure to put "spoilers" (if there are any) in the topic title, and then let people know (at the top of your post/review) which episodes your review covers. Eg., Episodes 1 - 12. :)
Currently I'm more interested in Hoo Ye's story than in the relationship between So Ah and Habaek. Even…
Yeah, the end of episode 9 felt like a significant turning point in their relationship (IMO), as we finally get to see some real emotion from Ha Baek. Until that point, I was finding it *very* difficult to like him (the constant cold, childish, selfish, emotionless jerk routine, episode after episode, was getting extremely tedious). But he's finally feeling more "human" (haha!) to me now. It's just that together, I'm not feeling it at all, which is such a shame. That episode 9 kiss should have been emotionally-charged...full of passion, desperation, and longing. But it fell totally flat for me, and felt very strange and awkward. I definitely agree with you, that something feels very "off". :(
I often wonder, when watching a drama where the leads seem to have no chemistry at all (especially when it comes to intimate/kissing scenes), if there's issues between the actors. I can't even imagine how awful (and difficult) it must be to have to simulate love, passion, intimacy, kissing, etc. if you really don't like the person you're acting it out with. I also wonder about personal (real-life) relationships, and how they might affect an actor's job. For instance, if it causes problems in their personal life, with their girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse. Actors do need to be professional, but they are human after all, and I imagine some must find it *much* more difficult than others.
Ah, well... whatever the reason may be, I'll keep tuning in and hoping for some major improvement in these final episodes. *crosses fingers* :)

Same here... With each episode I'm finding myself more and more apathetic towards the relationship between Ha Baek and So Ah. I really *want* to like them together and be emotionally invested, but I'm just not feeling any real chemistry. And most of their scenes (that are supposed to be romantic/emotional) just leave me feeling very "meh", or slightly depressed and irritated. If the "romance" doesn't take a turn for the better soon, I'm probably not going to care at all if they end up together or not. :(
Right now, Hoo Ye (his character, story, and the mystery surrounding him) is pretty much the *only* thing that finally hooked me in this drama (after 6-7 episodes), and makes me so eager to see what happens next.
Someone please spoil me. I want to watch this but how does he threaten her? Violence, sexual violence, etc? I…
I'm watching this right now, and in the first 3 episodes there's been:
* Lots of verbal threats (including the threat of rape and forced pregnancy)
* Lots of wrist-grabs (with forceful pulling/dragging), forceful face/chin grabs, and shoving up against the wall.
* He may (or may not? It wasn't quite clear...) have had sex with her even though he knew she'd been rufied.
* He had his men kick her (and her ex-boyfriend)
Supposedly, he "likes" her...but it's really twisted and obsessive.
Could someone please tell me what kind of ending this has, in regards to the main leads? Is it happy or bittersweet/sad/tragic? (Please hide behind a Spoiler).
Asian Crush has this now, with proper English subs: https://www.asiancrush.com/movie/love-clinic/ Asian Crush…
Sorry! I wish I could help, but I haven't found it anywhere else with the proper subs. All the other sites (that I've found) have the machine translated subs, which are really horrible. I initially tried watching with those, but had to give up after about 10 mins. It's like trying to make sense of jibberish. :(
Agreed... they're all so horrible! :( And I really can't stand Bi Ryum. With each episode, I hate him more and more. What an evil PoS (not to mention, a hateful little coward). That scene in the underground parking lot, where his "lackeys" assaulted Shin Hoo Ye, was horrible and heartbreaking. :(
Edit: The only somewhat decent one is Mu Ra. She's a nasty b*tch towards So Ah, but that's personal (fueled by jealousy). But towards humans/humanity in general, I believe she really does care. Also, she may dislike (or even hate?) Hoo Ye, simply because of what he is, but she's the only one that's shown some sense in that regard, and tried to get the others to leave him alone. Basically: "Don't poke the tiger".
Wonderful article! (And I appreciate the extra effort you made with the presentation!) I'm really looking forward to the next installment. :)
Of the ones listed here, Some I've loved or really enjoyed, a couple I had to drop, and a few I haven't seen yet. In fact, right now I'm in the middle of episode 1 of "I Love My President Though He's a Psycho" because of this article. And all I can think is: WTF am I watching?! LOL! It's so bad...but I want to keep watching for some strange reason. :P
Why is everyone ganging up on the CEO... they are like high school bullies
Agreed. It hurts my heart to see that. :( He's someone who could very easily be dangerous/evil, yet he's been trying so hard to fight it and be a good "person". All he wants is to be left alone, but those a-hole Gods constantly keep provoking him. He's already starting to lose control of his powers, and is slowly slipping closer to the "dark side". I really, really hope he doesn't turn into a true villain, and that So Ah will "save" him before anything really bad happens and he reaches a point where there's no turning back (no redemption). :(
