IDK in MR.Queen his character isn't equally main like FL and he was good, but I wasn't impressed with him in other dramas (for example school 2017), though I liked him when saw first time in CLOY, maybe I had higher expectations.
from what dramas I've seen Shin hyu sun's other costars Lee Jong Suk and Yang Se Jong, even Kim Myung Soo are much impressive actors. Maybe I will be more impressed with kim jung hyun when I see him in other projects :)

Yes, Kdramas give male characters more opportunity to show 3D characters / acting and because of that if female even without very "loud" character manages to overshadow or just be very memorable - then she is really good (I had that feeling with Moon Chae Won in "flower of evil", she had soo great veteran costar and plot wasn't FL oriented/unic female character like in Mr. Queen or "It's okay", also I wasn't her fan or impressed with visual, but I could feel every her emotion, amazing actress).

Agree, seo yea ji overshadowed kim soo Hyun in its okay to not be okay, her character is soo unforgettable )))) I thought she is good but maybe visuals + dress + interesting character helps her, but after "save me" I had no doubt she is one of the best Asian actress.

I'm going to see Son yejin's movies and I know I will love her more :)

I don't know what/who is Knetz, I don't know about Asian showbusiness, I just watch dramas and I think that actor isn't that strong (compare to many talented actors including shin hyu sun's co stars) but he is still young and where I've seen him Mr.Queen was best (actually he did that character very well).
as for drama and actress, both (drama maybe more because of actress) were fantastic!

I think in Kdramas good acting from male actors are more often then females, but often reason could be how characters are written.
Yes you mentoned great actresses but in my taste and dramas I have seen, shin hyu sun was "guilty" in it more then others, also Seo Yea Ji and Moon Chae Won <3
I like son yejin but not that much, haven't seen park bo young's dramas and only drama of jun Ji Hyun "my love from stars" and that drama (for my taste) was bad, where even talented Kim Soo Hyun was wooden.

OMG, when she is one of THE MOST talented actress in Korea... I don't remember female actresses who overshadow popular/great co-star actors (Except of Mr.Queen, where ML wasn't strong actor) like she does in every project...

I know, just that American tv series have similar atmosphere and vibe, so I mentioned if someone wants after watching HCCC. I know, I usually want something similar after watching drama that I like too much )))

I like her so much, good actress and very beautiful, not usual "just one more pretty face" but with her own charm and sexuality... so bad she hasn't many dramas.

I've seen her first in Boys over flowers and was more memorable than FL )))

I love old kdrama vibes, if old drama is good it's really good because they are more natural and free, when newer dramas (though last 1-2 years dramas also getting better in that way) have more censure - it's hard to name one word to the things what I mean (sexual relationships, overall some morality subjects, fact that FL should always be super pure and date one guy in lifetime and stuff like that, even free friendship/hugs between man and woman, even female actresses body language was more free in old dramas and more things like that).
***that is one of the things I often miss in kdramas, more free plot/moral in this way, without frames of "always innocent, pure, never been in love FL".

Agree on Kill it, I loved drama and also the fact they could courage to show real antihero ML (though this actor has more antihero roles then anyona).
*** that is second thing I miss and search in asian dramas, real antihero (which often means more realistic, interesting and 3D character) ML and if he is badass to it's perfection.

about How to buy friend - as I saw this and Extracurricular are quite same type of dramas/plots, but Extracurricular is bit more dark (as I know) + Netflix and higher rating, so I decided leave it after this one. Plus How to buy friend is only 4 hour watch, it's intense and interesting.

AGREE and wish more users say things strict like it is, often I'm afraid saying bad about actor/actress will cause aggressive comments, but like movies they are also good or bad and why can't we say it? if someone's private life will cause scandal then everyone are ready for judgment (when it's not even our business) but saying that he/she acts bad is kind of taboo )))

so yes, this actress is like stone, just one cold facial expression and that's all, there are few others (mostly females) so I caught myself not wanting watch even good drama because of female lead.........

reminded me American tv series Hart of Dixie, so similar: pretty successful doctor from big city moves to small town (sooo similar atmosphere) and opens clinic, there are many interesting native people/characters, also town's popular extrovert funny sexy boy who gets to FL close and helps her. In the beginning people doesn't like city girl, she also can't used to local different life style.
these 2 tv series are so so similar and both so good/sweet/positive, relationships, FL and other characters, overall vibee... really similar

yes, Japan is different, you can see it even with dramas and movies, sex and "morality" things are much open... When in Korea infidelity was punished with jail until 2015 (I was in shock when I read about it).

Anyway, we can handle season 2 without few characters I just pray the don't cancel it, because there are no news for so long :((((

I have 6 dragons in PTW long time too, I know it's really good but it needs right mood and time, Deep roots also seems interesting (with such writer) and I'll return to them soon, now I'm on modern jdrama's mood )))
BTW though main leads are 2 young guys in My country (and their friends/enemies bromance is best I've ever seen) Jang Hyuk was sooo damn unforgettable, last scene with him... oh God he is amazing actor!!!!

yee, it's always like that, simple gets more popular (Vincenzo and DOTS are still better then many super popular dramas), when really deep complex dramas are underrated. I can say he is really great actor, I was amazed how guy with "baby face" could be still so manly and masculine in some dramas. he's visual isn't my taste but I respect him as actor.

if you like crime/romance genre (even if you aren't fan of it) I truly recommend "Cruel City", it's sooo good on so many levels, my most favorite drama with (or after) Arthdal (and after them "Memories of the Alhambra" and "My Country: The New Age"). I'm sure you will like as you value serious, deep, complex dramas with good acting.

AGREE! I wasn't his fan (not my type) but could say he is good actor, but after Arthdal I loved him (though in other dramas he isn't quite my type anyway) especially as Saya he was unforgetable! really amazing acting!
as for Vicenzo - maybe I had high/different expectations (I thought it would be something like "Cruel City" - great and complex crime/mafia/romance drama, but it was light kind of fluffy romance, for me plot and badass/smart/antihero-ish ML wasn't believable ... but maybe it was because I waited something more (Cruel city) but I can say his acting was good (he is good actor) but liked him more in "innocent man"
