so I'm glad there is at list one (this) normal review about drama not judging it because it's main subject... it's like to critic medical drama because there is blood and too many doctors...
also I hate when people rate so much law (1-2-3-4) only because they didn't liked one or two detail, or even ending...

haven't watch yet but already mad about reviews, everyone gives it so law rating because they don't like cheating, so why they watched it first place? they don't review drama but judge characters morality...

you are welcome but for someone it can be good light romance, I think 1 episode is enough to know, I was bored even in 1-2 ep, especially after Goblin, it's really weak

I mean, they maybe have chemistry here too, I'm dropping after 5 episodes, but when plot and romance is so unrealistic, primitive and nothing interesting, when FL annoys you and romance warm up cringes, it's hard to see any chemistry...

rarely annoying and stupid FL , unrealistic plot/romance - why would smart cold lawyer fall for needy barbie girl? I came here after Goblin and as everyone I loved this couple, we all know these actors can have amazing chemistry, but it's a good example how much good writing, plot and directing matters, chemistry and good romance isn't only because actors...

as for Song Joong Ki, I would say it's his best role(s), best performance! I didn't liked him from other dramas but love him after it.

overall I would say this is the best, most perfect Asian drama I know and I know many.
this drama has so many levels and interesting subjects, so great actors/characters, relationships, story, cinematography, I don't know.... everything is perfect here, this drama is equal to high class western tv shows (and even though now I'm into asian dramas, I still think western tv series are another level).

she just can't act :( does she have even one really good played role?

main characters really have chemistry, are beautiful and interesting characters (not great, complex or multilayered but still good) and relationships, nothing mind blowing but also not usual rom com situations. love triangle isn't usual and it's refreshing, not one more "2 guys crazy in love 1 girl and she loves ML but triangle is still dragged", it was good to see that SML is the one whos in center of love triangle and not in love with FL.
as I mentioned main leads have real sweet chemistry, we see how ML is in love, but feelings of FL isn't romantic love, and it's normal, it's understable, she was like older sister, even like mother to this boy, she doesn't sees him as man, on the other hand she has someone else quite nice man (not boy), who thought her many things, was always good and nice, real friend to her. and the fact that he loves someone else doesn't make him bad, he is honest every time.
So I don't understand why every drama should end with main leads as romantic couple, or why develop drama until very last episodes that way when FL doesn't sees ML as man and with situation it's natural and then suddenly ....
though not many main couples in rom coms have so good chemistry...

I love love/hate friends/enemies bromances too, but I'm on 18th episode and wouldn't say this drama is great example. Yes kind of there is this kind of vibe, but it's not emotional, there was few good bromance scenes, emotions, but most time wouldn't say any of them has strong friendship feelings, as fact couldn't see they suffer because of loosing friend/becoming enemy of old friend...
if you still like this subject, I could recommend way better, emotional bromances

agree with you, though I'm watching this and it quite catches you, really has intense plot, there are too many plot holes, at list so dramatic changes of 2 main male leads, it's just unnatural, ML becomes another person but SML is changing even more, it's crazy, how can we just believe plot like this.
another big or small plot holes and of course repetitive, as you said: same formula over 28 episodes: 1. get arrested 2. tortured 3. GAKSITAAAL 4. escape 5. rinse and repeat.

maybe it was good at it's time? as I see asian dramas development, maybe yes, but at this time I was watching western tv series and there was so great masterpieces at this time, can't even compare (Vikings, Peaky Blinders and Game of thrones after all ))))

agree 100% it was huge plot hole, but overall liked the drama (though there was many plot holes). it was like "wanna make Asian Lost" but couldn't do of course, though ML is so good actor he caries lot and there was good unusual things too (for example relationship between ML and FL)

it was good drama, not usual, good acting and many realistic moments, even the fact that main leads haven't romance was good (they like each other and it's good, not every ML and FL should be Romeo and Juliete, there is also friendly chemistry in real life and they had it, friendship with simpaty).
but there was big plot holes and unrealistic things too, they kind of forgot about young member of "Dreamers", never mentioned that he killed him and reporter too and after all serial killer (he was serial killer, nothing less) is with them under the rainbow like he just made one little mistake and now he is good boy...WTF????
but overall I liked drama and ML is amazing actor

It's really great drama, interesting, good twists and turns, high production value, good dramatical plot and acting, multilayered characters, good and interesting romance (plus almost every time romances/triangles are predictable, bot not here) and quite sharp emotions. though there are little plot holes/unrealistic details, but this is compare to overall drama level, otherwise 90% dramas have bigger plot holes/unrealistic moments.

another interesting thing about this drama - ML is typical anti hero SML, so if you love second male leads and/or anti heroes (like me, it's like real syndrome, almost everytime liking SML) this drama would be special for you. I loved that SML was good developed and had similar or more screen time, he is more ML type character, and also we could have damaged full of pain anti hero (very SML type) as main lead and because of that drama was more understanding to him, though he really has dark side in both lives, and this dark side is quite deep, not usual "kind of dark ML".
both male leads have their charisma and "SML charm" and because of that I wasn't sure who I rooted more. though drama manages most of things/plot developments good, I think at some point it was misleading and to say more about that I sould give some spoilers.

spoiler part:
in romance part there was something I didn't liked, as I said I liked that ML was SML like anti hero and it should help me to root him more, plus I kind of knew (think I read somewhere and the fact that he is ML) he would end up with FL, and of course in first life he so tragic viewer wants him to have something good, some happyness at list in second live.... but... at some point drama makes you root to SML and FL, they are like romeo and juliete, loved each other so much in first live and have so good prelude of romance in second life, though I didn't like this actor his character was so cool in second life, and FL falls for him and al this is so natural, good acted, they have chemistry, when she looks at ML as younger brother who needs support... Viewer feels pity to ML because his misfortunes repeats in second live, but as the drama was at list for 10 episodes, it was logical that FL loves SML and they are destined...
So I don't understand sudden change in romance part, why was she so understanding to ML, ok she is good person and sees he needs someone to support him, that he is damaged but not evil yet, but there was too much facts against ML and after all she believes him and supports anyway, it's not natural, when she didn't forgives SML (who she loved and said to him always be with him, never break his hart) because he shot ML...
understanding/forgiving everything to ML and almost nothing to SML is kind of old cliche and even this drama has it, but in last 4 episode suddenly she falls in love to ML? falls for guy who she hated in past live and looked as brother (plus she tried to stop him to protect SML) in this live, why? she was saying to him that her love to SML wouldn't changes, why they developed that strong chemistry/feels with emotional past life paralels if they were going to that ending?
I just couldn't understand this...

yes yes!!! exactly! even his character changed bit, he was less special in second half, I don't understand why they should make this amazing very unusual character ordinary guy (like every drama ML), they think it was development? :(
though he is great actor anyway, I saw him in other dramas too, and he really is good actor

100% agree, old look was so original, individual and fits him so amazing, and then he became (visually) random usual guy
