I think GZY found it more important to interrogate Yue Zhang Lao than his bride because he did had prior suspicions about her BUT Yue Zhang Lao came as total surprise to him.

No love between GSJ and SGQ, both are scheming toward each other. The Viper GSJ has been waiting patiently and decided to strike. The Black Widow SGQ is selling herself cheaply by dangling her junks in front of the Viper.

GZY-YWS and Yue ZhangLao-YunQue, now that are love.

I'm pleasantly surprised at Yue actor acting ability. He played his dark haired self perfectly like a young naive guy should be and when he grow grey his demeanor changes completely. Bravo!

Yes, GJM knows how to captures the best angles for his actors. He knows what ladies (the biggest part of drama audiences) love too. Those bare chested handsome men are irresistible....😎 JieJie is our spirit animal.

The Gongs robes are beautifully detailed and personalized despite all wearing the same black color. Their wigs are top quality, shiny and smooth with simple yet attractive head pieces, hairpins, glitter chains and hair beads. Their makeup are flawless with bit of hiccups which is ZLH's foundation seemed to be too thick at times.

WuFeng dudes especially YWS's handler are handsome and lethal looking, the bad boy and walking red flag type, attractive nonetheless. Surprisingly, WuFeng ladies especially the brides get the short end of the stick, their styling are the most simple and plain. White and pastel which are not really flattering on XX and LYX. But XX looked great with her black and red robes combo.

Those back hill residents are ethereal looking. White on white. The Blue Hair Haired Boy is gorg and lethal at the same time. Yue ZhangLao is sooooo handsome and expensive looking.

So how will we explain GSJ's violence reaction over the mentioned of activating The Infinite Fire?? Does he knows that it's inside GZY or what?

I'm quite surprised that before today eps many were thinking GSJ is a power hungry jerk who wanted the throne for himself. He is obviously only wanted the best for his clan. Like it or not GZY before today eps was a clueless dude who didn't fit to lead anything much more such powerful clan like The Gong. He needs some whipping to get him into the proper lane. "我不喜欢你", it's a great wake up call for GZY. He will finally step up his game.

IMHO, I don't think Yue "Handsome" ZhangLao is part of WuFeng. He obviously knows a lot about them and have/had close connection with one of the WuFeng girl.

I don't care about billing, screen time, etc etc. I have my own bias but if my bias starring in a shitty drama, I would be like, "Yes, I love you and you are hot but I won't park my arse and sit thru that trash just for you." The same with my none bias, "I have no idea who you are neither I like you from your previous works but you are great here! So let's go!."

For Cdrama/C celebs it's a waste of energy to fight over screen time billing etc because us iFan can contributes nothing to it. For Mainlander themselves they do have to be careful not to overplay their hands in meddling is their biases' lives and works. It won't do any good for their own biases. Remember Xiao Zhan.

Many people think GSJ is arrogant but IMO he has the right to be arrogant judging by all his achievements and contributions to the clan. He is capable to be a great SW, he has a great head on his shoulders. GZY is too naive spoil and sheltered to be a leader of such great clan. He wears his heart on his sleeve which is a real bad characteristic of a leader for a clan that living on edges of death cliff.
