I rewatched today eps for the 100 times, MY kept hugging SJ every single time since she turned dark. I don't know why it's irked me in a way and make me wanna scream that, "MY!! I didn't read the novel and I don't plan to so I can only give my opinion based on what I watched. Since the beginning MY never gave her a chance to speaks her mind. Their first met after the wedding, he laid down 3 ground rules about their marriage. Being a naive love struck young sheltered clam, she dared not raise her objection. She can only tried to show her sincerity.

And why MY dared not to confirmed what TH said to SJ?? Because of his own 3 rules, that said he will divorce her if she has someone she liked.

The worst part is when she turned demon because of TH instead of consoling her and ask for her opinion on how to deal with TH, he decided everything by himself. I feel a mighty satisfaction when SJ told him she has no place for him in her heart and dropped the crystal.

MY character is a classic xianxia male lead. The YueHua-ish one, loving someone deeply but pretending otherwise with an excuse of for her own good. I think most of us including me are fed up with this type of trope hence TTJ and DFQC are like breathes of fresh air.

TH won't die yet apparently, she will be rescue by MY. TH will die on SJ's second attempt after she goes dark completely.

I think the point is how the "victim" perceived the act. The morning after MY didn't show any signs that indicated he feels that he was a r4pe victim. He is a full pledge matured man so being groomed or a statuary r4pe for sure are out of questions.
