Yes, she does. she found out about him killing people in the cave when he used her brother to lure her there to that cave when he pretended to be a hostage. Her husband then told her that in order for him to use the Assassination Illusion skill, he would have had to have killed 10 ppl or more. So, she knew he was up to no good. Then him attacking her husband, hoping he'd die. Trying to destroy the one cure that could save him right before their eyes, after attempting to imprison her for his own selfish reasons is more than enough reason to make the hard decision.

She even told him, to basically bring his A game if he came at her again after she healed him. That tells me that she knew it was a possibility that he was going to try the Sky Swallowing Array. The fact that she began preparing for the battle to stop the Sky Swallowing array meant that she already knew it was going to happen. She invited it by letting him live. She had the chance to prevent the worse and didn't take it and she was just lucky that they met the Empress in that Array who helped them, or else they would have lost.

Then what was even the point of going to him in the first place? If she'd rather die than ask for help, what does that make her?

This is the one thing I do find annoying about this particular scenario. When the FL or ML tries to play games of seduction, they're warned not to go there, but think they can handle it, so they press on and when the other person says "I'm your huckleberry." now they want to be all shocked and shy, trying to pull back. But wait, this is your game. If you didn't want to play, don't start it.

Ah okay. But here is the thing about that. Another one of her bad decisions. 27 wouldn't have been in danger after sacrificing himself if she had chosen to be honest with her husband. If she had said "I did come to you for the GMD because I was poisoned and now I'm dying. I love you and trust you, please trust me. I don't want it for power. I need it to live."

Then she could have shown him her last lifeline and he would have immediately given her the GMD, just like he did when he figured the truth out for himself. Because he loved her that much and their minds and hearts were already in sync. That's why they were able to save the city from the Netherbeasts.

But instead, she chose to lie, cause a fight and make him feel yet ANOTHER betrayal from someone he trusted. And everything that happened afterward was a result of her stupid, prideful decision that nearly cost her and her companion their lives.

If it could have worked with someone else. That means that person had common sense and survival instincts. It was still stupid for her to do what she did. Yes, she's prideful, but pride comes before the fall. She just got lucky 27 was able to come back and that her man saved her life in spite of her foolish decision to be prideful. Yes, it is realistic. I wasn't debating that. I just called it illogical. Like, woman, you're about to die. If there is one time in your whole life to put aside your pride... It's now.

Umm.... He had already killed over ten innocent ppl that she knew about. He killed his brothers, tried to kill her husband, tried to trap her in a marriage, and colluded with the enemy to trap her. You don't keep giving ppl who do that more chances to succeed. Only a fool would. She took a huge gamble with everyone's lives fooling around with him. You end the threat before it has a chance to get bigger.

I don't believe he was the reason why 27 lived because she was told his essence was still there before she had the heart blood, which is why she kept his bell. His hearts blood could only sustain her for a few hours, which is why her dad was confused about why she seemed to be healed.

Her giving him a chance to undo his mistake was just another one of their mistakes. This guy had already killed innocent ppl at that point. He tried to kill her husband. Tried to trap her in a marriage. Colluded with the enemy (her brother) , killed off his brothers, showed his whole hand to her about what his plans were. At that point, only a fool would think he would turn over a new leaf.

Her being softhearted put millions of lives at risk. She had no idea if he could be defeated and only got lucky when the spirit of the empress showed up to help her and hubby out. Otherwise, they would have lost.

I'm going to agree to disagree. Because they both made some right and wrong decisions due to their trust issues, fear of what might be, even though they loved each other.

But that was also the theme of the series which is why it wasn't until the last episode that they promised to never lie to each other.

You know, not that I'm not enjoying the final battle. But... All they had to do was finish him off in his house that day they got the tree root and they could have avoided all this drama with the Sky Swallowing Array. There was no reason to let him live at that point because they already knew what him and his father had planned.

I'm on ep. 34, but SL def. Should have been dealt with when they first discovered he was shady in that cave. When you let ppl live who prove to be threats, you get problems.

Like I would have killed the Uncle before he even had a chance to make his Netherbeast army. That dude would have had one more time to show up at my house accusing me of a crime before I make him pixie dust.

Now I LOVE her reaction to Situ wanting to force marriage on her. I was hoping she'd treat it like it didn't matter, because he wants it to mean something to her. He wants to mean something to her. And I don't want him to get even an inch of what he wants.

Edit to say, I didn't see that coming. I love when it's unpredictable too.

I honestly doubt that . Because if she had told him. "I'm dying. I used all of my spiritual veins protecting you and the city. I'm on my last one, once it's gone. I die. I know I should have told you this before, but I was scared you would think that I was trying to gain the GMD for power. I just want to live and discover who it was who poisoned me. I love you and trust you, I hope you trust me. "

Now, if that conversation had happened and he could still look her in The eyes and say. "Nope". Then I wouldn't even be able to root for their relationship because at that point, where is the love?

He already had trust in her and love. They shared a night of passion and the only reason he reacted the way that he did is because she kept lying. That's all on her. None of what happened needed to happen after that. Her lies were self destructive and made her suffer and ppl who cared about her suffer too.

That doesn't change the fact that in ep. 30 what I stated should happen, actually happened and she told him that he should know her better than to be someone who could not be guilted. And he agreed. That along proves that he could have just told her. These two characters show be beyond that.

Some scenarios are just written to create chaos where there need not be any or drama. The story is progressing the same way I've been predicting and the conflicts added have the same results.

I knew the brother poisoned her first ep. For example, because the elements were there.

This criticism isn't to say these scenarios can't be entertaining. I was just expecting something different that would have shown more growth. But even at ep. 33, secrets is still at play with the couple. Which is keeping them apart to set up for the big reunion.

They should have thrown that ring in Mt. Doom of Mordor. 😂

I'm on ep. 29. So the reason I'm talking about is him not telling her that he gave her the GMD.

I'm looking at this from the perspective of a writer as well.

It could have been as simple as him giving it to her and saying "Here is the cure. Please take it. I love you and I don't want you to die. Whatever you chose to do, whether you leave or stay, your life is your own. And I'll always be there for you. "

Because what is the difference from him saving her life in the forest while looking for the cure, to him saving her life with the cure. Either way she knows he saved her life. Why must one act be kept a secret and the other be in plain sight?

Not really. Both had their plots and misconceptions. But once it was cleared up, which was by ep. 23. She could have had an adult conversation with him explaining herself. He would have immediately given her the GMD, because at that point, he loved and trusted her.

From then on, they could truly be a couple and she could have told him her plans to find out who poisoned her and he would have been on board to help. I know this because that's where the story progresses anyway after the detour of them breaking up.

So those episodes in between was all for the sake of drama and expanding the series. It's good that everything else is also entertaining.

That excuse would work if these two didn't already walk through high and lows together. The love was there a long time ago. If she didn't already love him, they would have never been able to cross that bridge. If she didn't love him, he would have died when the General took over his body and tried to force her to kill him. She they didn't already love and trust each other, they wouldn't have been able to save the whole city with that array spell. And if he didn't already love her, he wouldn't have risked his life to make the GMD to save her.

Fact of the matter, it is just another excuse to keep the drama going by having them have to prove their love all over again.
