You know there is a ''spoiler'' button this could get you banned.
It's more speculation than spoilers. Also, pretty common tropes in kdramas and Cdramas. I mean ,if you don't see that coming, I don't know what to tell you. That's like being shocked that a couple has a childhood past. Or that a jade pendent defines ones relation to the rich family or past love.
I've been excited about this one and so far, it's not disappointing me. We have a mystery plot. We have a romance brewing along with a 2nd ml's interest in the FL and a 2nd fl's interest in the ML because the Queen definitely has some love/lust/resentment towards ML. We have controversy abound because any infractions gets blown out of proportions with celebs, rich and royals.
I personally like the take on the modern royal ruling. I wish the emperor had the power he had back in the day instead of being a figurehead while the politicians ruled. Like the alternate kingdom of Corea in that series "Eternal Monarch". But I do like the modern royalty twist.
I don't know if this one is for me. The comedy is so forced and not funny. FL is loud and obnoxious, not to mention incredibly stupid. Yet we're supposed to believe she's the top of her class at her university. It's like they're trying to do Deadpool level forth wall breaking, but without the charm, humor or wit. Not sure about how I feel with the ML. I guess he's supposed to bring the action and serious side. I might give this another ep before I toss in the towel.
what good are bodyguards and snipers if they won't protect you? He got shot at twice and they didn't bother to shot his attackers. What kind of baloney is this?
This could have been a great mafia story if they writer didn't want to create a couple where the love was unrequited. I'd much rather see her either be with the man, or the man leave her since she can't accept his life.
On ep. 1 and this already looks like one of those dramas where the Fl is an obviously bad liar. Her facial expressions give her away every time. She is annoying as hell. A stupid woman who thinks she's smart... the worst kind. Completely unworthy of the ML's devotion and protection, yet the ML is written in a way to always give everything he has to save a woman who gives him nothing but grief. He wants to believe her lies and not sure why as the love, after 6 years, is fake. Even in those vertical dramas, relationships like this one is the one that's supposed to end. Not sure if this one may be the series for me. I hate FL and ML like this. One lead has to be worthy of the devotion of the other for me to be on board.
Ugh, I hate when the FL isn't worthy of the ML's devotion. I'm only on ep. 1 and can tell she's dumber than a doorknob on a fake door. She can't even keep her cool when she's under suspicion. How can see pretend to be his lover when she's so standoffish? This series is about to annoy the hell out of me, I can tell. She might be as annoying as the Fl in Cruel Romance.
why fight over that company? Just leave it and start your own with the Dihou group project. If grandma wants her loser grandkids to run her company that badly, let them run it into the ground. Sell your shares too, while the getting is good.
I've seen two versions of this story. Eh, it's a solid 7 for me, but the Daddy is hot. Talk about an upgrade. The guards actually do their job and FL wasn't a complete weakling.
Clearly the clothing were inspired from traditional ethnic clothing from China (young and old would wear them).…
Yeah, I know. You can tell that if a vampire has to feed on blood, he/she is considered the bad guy. Only the ones who refuse to drink can be considered the good ones. Which is one of the reasons I don't really bother watching too many of those types. Now, I did love When Destiny Chooses a Demon. To me, that one broke the mold. Not only was the ML demon ruthless, but the FL didn't try to change him into some good guy just to give him her love.

You definitely have a point there, but I've seen some pretty entertaining short dramas, a lot actually that do a much better job under these same circumstances. My biggest issue wih these types of stories where it's vampires or bloodsucking beings is that they are always cursed or dying and weak. They hardly ever if ever show them drinking blood. He might as well had been a regular human. I like for supernatural creatures to show their power. I think that's why I enjoyed Snowfall so much. Yes, it wasn't a short length series , but they handled the vampires well. I have to go into my library to find other short series that have kickass characters with powers, etc.

Even her gaslighting is obvious. The only person she's fooling is him because he wants to be.
I do have one question for you If you don't mind. How does one become a VIP here?
