1. The brother thought he was staring at the mailbox as if he had hid a bomb or something in it. He paused because…
Even that took entirely too long. He still should have someone get his sister out of the way if the guy is a suspected murder. Was dumb on his part to bring her to the scene in the first place. And even after they opened the mailbox, because I watched all of that, it still took him forever to get the guy into the car. The man had time to continue to stare at her over his shoulder.
Everybody else parted like the red sea, but she stood there. So, I get it, they want us to see just how drawn they are to each other.
And say it was a bomb in the mailbox, the way they opened it could have killed everyone because what if opening the door was the trigger?
That whole scene was just silly, but I'm still curious to see where it's going.
is the fl as dumb as in the trailer and the first episode
Apparently, we have to wait until Ep6 for her to not be stupid anymore. Of course, I'm only on ep. 1 now and already enjoying the production value and the storyline is intriguing. But this girl just doesn't have survival instincts at all. Run, damn girl, Run.
She reminds me of the girl in Thriller video when MJ tells her to run, but she won't and keeps asking if he's okay. And even after he starts wolfing out, she just stands there screaming until he's practically fully transformed. lol
So, we're not going to put him in the police car? We're just going to stand there with him handcuffed in front of the girl too silly to move and let them stare at each other? is this the protocol? LOL.
This looks interesting like some dark, chaotic mess and I'm intrigued.
The wardrobe department makes the FL wear frumpy clothes so they can trigger people who judge fictional characters…
Go sit down somewhere, please. Because what I'm talking about is lazy writing and character development as it happens all too often in far too many shows and movies to pretend otherwise. Don't come at me with lame excuses about her being pregnant as she was dressing that way BEFORE her pregnancy. This is done to create a contrast between characters that supposed to prove that the female is plain, sweet, and simple. It screams lack of imagination.
Look at how they dress the other female actresses who are supposed to come off as bosses or sassy. But not Miss Girl Friday. It would be more interesting to do the opposite of what all the other writers are doing to add uniqueness. Her character's personality is already run of the mill for the most part and the series has its overused cliches. I'm trying to see if it gets better because I do give things a chance.
when does she start dressing like the poster, because her ass looks like a nun in every scene. bland clothes that she wears in layers. Ep. 3 has her looking like Sister Agatha from the Abernathy Catholic Church.
Why do writers, directions, and wardrobe, whoever else is responsible think that a woman can't be silly, charming, kindhearted, or even gullible and NOT have a killer fashion sense? Same for men. I know you're trying to do an opposite attract where the guy is a sharp dresser and the woman isn't. But that's just lazy writing and character development.
Why is she ALWAYS trying to be nice to this woman who is always mean to her. So what is she's one of your in laws. Girl, if you don't stop trying to be the Goddess of friendship and Mercy.
And if he can't turn his brother in then he needs to stand out of the way of others who can. He's being selfish. It's all about what he can't lose, never mind the thousands of soldiers who are brothers, husbands, fathers, sons who will die if war breaks out over his brother. Like what, their families lost don't matter? This is what's wrong with these "Hero" types.
They are always willing to sacrifice ppl who aren't a part of their inner circle and then have the nerve to call themselves the good guys.
I think the whole thing was not thought out well enough. Ok she asked him why he hated her and he didnt reply,…
Exactly. She's been with him that long and NOW she wants to investigate him. I can see why he developed feelings even if it seems like a sick obsession on his part. And while investigating, she acts like her lies are logical. Oh, the lights went out in the house so to look for candles she decides to search in his office? Why not the kitchen or storage?
And does she really think he has no idea that she's been looking for info when he's found her in his office twice and she claimed she was looking for a book to read. Just the dumbest excuses that makes me doubt the intelligence they claim the character had enough to be a lawyer.
He could have ended Fu, but he wanted to brag and play games. All he had to do was fill him full of lead when he was in the car. Or one head shot and done. But Nooooo, he wanted him to step out of the car, get down on his knees, have a conversation, gloat and that's how he lost control. Now he deserves what comes next because it's obvious he isn't dead.
I figured they would drag out that guy's death and would have the leads do something very stupid in order to allow him the escape.
And what did that woman think was going to happen when she went back to her father after her brother died? She should have stayed her ass at home with her husband.
I shame wardrobe didn't keep up with how often the actors would wear the same clothes. In every scene even as days past, they're wearing the same clothes.
A hostile takeover is what her dad did to his dad 12 years ago and if that old man was the breadwinner for his family, he should have thought about that before attempting to ruin that man's business. But here comes the FL acting like a saintess trying to convince the ML to just let it go. The series is trying to make it seem like she's the good guy when her antics don't sell me on that. She snatched a pen out of his hand in their first meeting then told him to give it to her. Got mad that he didn't just give her what she demanded and lied about him "Stealing" it when it was the other way around. Then she accused him of murder without evidence. Blackmailed him by threatening to ruin his reputation if he didn't comply. She violates his privacy by spying on him and looking through his things. She'd be outraged if he did that to her. Had it been me, her ass would be on latrine duty.
Decided to watch because of Hawick, but the premise seems like the same from Sealed with a Kiss, even starring the same actor. He's easy on the eyes and can act, so I'm going to see what this drama is talking about.
so i've binged 8 eps and i don't really feel sorry for her, his threats aren't weighty enough for her to be doing…
Same. They've got her acting like she's seen the man brutally torture people to death. I haven't see her go through anything really that justifies her reaction to that extent. The one time she may have been put in a situation, he came to save her like you said. if she REALLY wanted to leave, she could have. She could pay someone to pretend to be her to trick them and drive off and never come back. She could have sent her family away in secret and if her sister didn't want to leave, then let her stay. She could actually sleep with the man and when he's vulnerable, when his guard is down, icepick him. I mean, it's a number of options this woman has. Poison, an "accident", etc. Now Love & Bid Farewell had that genuine toxic ML.
Well, again, her not having a backbone from the beginning because if she really wanted to not be used and threatened, and if she's so self-sacrificing as it would seem, she'd put an icepick through his eye while he's sleeping. That's if you want to serve cold justice. Otherwise, pawn the jewels, save the cash and sneak your family out first, then you go. If family won't leave because they love the life, let them have it and save yourself.
I don't really feel too much sympathy for characters that act helpless, but also act like they have a plan. And when you see them trying to put it into action, it's laughable. For instance, her seduction plan lying to the ML claiming she wants to be his woman. But when he makes a move, she's cringing away. Ma'am... how are trying to achieve your goals when you can't even act right? Honeypot scheme only works if the woman is willing to go all the way. Who would believe you otherwise?
What the deal of friend of the ml is he in love with him or something he is getting on my nerves 😤 and little…
lit sis knows exactly what's going on but she doesn't care. she is selfish and the FL is self-sacrificing. So that's another reason why lil sis doesn't care. She's used to getting her way and getting it easy.
Everybody else parted like the red sea, but she stood there. So, I get it, they want us to see just how drawn they are to each other.
