When does she act like herself because that whole childish act and speaking like she's 5 in that annoying voice is making me lean towards dropping. It's so unnecessary to have her speak like that even if she "lost" her memory, does she suppose to think she's a child still playing needing rearing and toys?

I'm talking about at least 2 instances. When her sister tried to kill the grandmother and she stopped her the first time. She could have disarmed her then. And if her plan was to see IF the guy would jump in front of the knife it was risky. 1. He could have just kicked the sister or grabbed her arm. Or 2. Sister could have actually killed him. I'm sure she knew he'd make a move but she couldn't have known which one either would make.


And the other instance was when dealing with the one who thought he'd killed her sister Wanwan. She left a lot up to chance even if she knew he was shady.

So, she is smart and I love that. But she can't predict everything for it ALL to be a part of "Her" plan.

Even if and it's risky. Her plan hinges on other ppl making moves she suspects they'll make. For instance, had ML not been fast enough, she could have ended up in a worse situation. Let's not pretend that she is God and know all things ahead of time . A lot of this is the ML skill and devotion as well as luck.

For instance, she didn't even know all of the details about that imposter.

Zero. No matter what her granddaughters say, she doesn't care. She lived an old miserable life and instead of wanting better for them, she wants the same.

Yeah, her. In the beginning we see her killing bandits without issues, but she can't unarm her untrained sister? Or dodge a knife being thrown. She just closes her eyes or stands there looking like a dear in the headlights?

They way I'd be like "I guess you don't want grandkids" if someone tried to force me to marry a person I didn't want or love. "We're about to have a loveless, childless, cold marriage, I promise you."

They can get mad all they want. But those are the breaks. And for whoever is trying to force me to marry them. I'll tell them as well "another person will always remain in my heart. On my mind. I won't even talk to you. You will be like a ghost in my presence. There but not there. I'm petty and vindictive and don't like being forced to what I don't want. Is this the life you truly desire because it's all you will get. Nothing."

I actually see what you mean. I am only on ep. 28 but before I started, I saw so many comments about how he lost himself and I still haven't seen him change who he is. In the beginning, he wasn't in love, so he was more callous, but after meeting her, he knows what he wants. He wants her and he's just as passionate and patient about getting her as he is about getting justice. I'll see if my opinion changes after watching all of it. But I like her personality.

You know what, I hate when they show someone being a martial arts badass, but when they want someone else to save them, they make the person act like they can't dodge or counter an attack the same way they were doing earlier.

I peeked ahead and it looks like they may end up getting busy in ep. 28.

Edit to say nope. They are dragged by it out by having her come up with reasons to play hard to get. 🙄 I guess in the last 3 episodes, we might see them work as a couple. Not sure if it can be called a romance without the romance.

I meant when they decide to be a couple again. Not the episodes where she's punishing him for what happened. Yeah, they're talking and he's helping, but she's still giving him the cold shoulder. What ep. Does that thaw? 35?

Yeah, that part is annoying because she knew who he was before he did. And yeah, he deceived her and on his wedding day, had to handle business. But it's not like he was commiting evil deads. This constant punishing she is doing against him is a bit annoying. I get that she is used to using her own capabilities to survive, but with him, she doesn't have to solely rely on herself. I think he's more than proved that his love is genuine . The only drama that dragged out the romance to me was Flourishing Peony.

Ugh, I hate when they make smart characters stupid or strong characters weak. It's lazy writing. Instead of making your villain rise to the occasion, they dumb down the hero.

I wouldn't be helping the family at all now that her sister wants to take charge. She wants to run everything, let her run it even if it's into the ground. Leave town and start your own business elsewhere.

Grandma is very biased because had she sent those other two men home that day instead of letting them hang around, it would t have been so much drama. But yet, she wants to punish LJL to the extreme when all he did was bring justice to where it was needed.

Unlike the other men she was easier on who were actually killing ppl and blackmailing and trying to ruin the family business. OAB needs to calm down.

I need to know, is there a break up between the mains and if so, how many eps does it go in for?

So far, I like her too. I'm only on ep 15, but I like that she keeps a cool head and seems to have her priorities right. I love the ML too as he seems devoted, while still focused on his duties. I believe the war with him will be balancing his investigation versus wanting to be completely honest with her because of his feelings.

Her, she has nothing to hide that is incriminating from what I can tell. No hidden agenda, so she doesn't have that conflict. But because she always has to be on guard, even from siblings, he is no exception as he is also not being honest and keeping his promise to her.

As they say, She's about that life.

I'm on ep. 12 now. Lol. It's so good and what I find refreshing about those tropes that in this series, she is protecting him until he gets his memories back.

On episode 11 and my first thought if I were her is "well, this unlucky bastard has to have an unfortunate accident."

I'd tell her if I were the ML, if you need convincing, if you allow him to blackmail you into marriage, you'll end up losing everything. He'll be running the company. He'll be controlling your children. He'll be controlling what you can and can't do. Are you ready to give up everything you care about?
