They underestimated the stranger they pulled into their scheme by NOT doing research on him. Then they allowed him to have access to the phone with ALL of the data on it. That phone should not have ever left her hand. She already took him to the airport, and planned for him to be an embezzler, so it would make sense for him to ditch his phone. She should have destroyed it as soon as she could. They were dumb for that. And when she had him in her car and he fell asleep, that was the moment to stab him in his throat, burn the car , and act like you barely escaped with your life after being threatened.

She could claim that he made her pick up someone else or that someone was already in the car with her to make her pick him up and the other person escaped whole she barely got away. Run on the road, hysterically flagging down traffic. Rip your clothes and act like you were attacked. Just to throw out a better plan than what she came up with.

Once they knew he had the phone with the location, they should have went back and moved the body.

I mean, at LEAST take the money and gold you found in the safe and you and your friend leave. Since they made entirely too many mistakes.

I personally thought she missed her opportunity when she was trying to fly out. She should have had her mom and cat with her. That way, she could have gotten on the plane together and not looked back. She needed to plan everything better, but she didn't really plan things. Get to America where you can get a gun for sure. If possible, change your identity. Or just make him a bath and then toss his cell phone in it that's still plugged into a non waterproof socket.

I've got to say it. The wife isn't the smartest. At the very least, she should have changed the damn lock code to her home!

And this chick with this seeing blood break down .. get it together! If she hadn't been tripping about non existent blood, her friend wouldn't have had to deal with that parking attendant. You two women need to tighten up.

You see this type of scenario a lot in Cdramas that's why I'm not surprised her character is being written that way.

I will say that I don't think she will stay as stubborn because if she truly believes she's a good person, the. She has to face the facts and help those in need.

She is acting like the typical FL you normally find in these scenarios. Even when they know the truth, they don't want to accept it because they're too weak to see the shades of gray to black in their own reality.

It is stupid to keep her in the dark, why does she need that level of protection when the victims she claims she wants to protect are at risk and from her family.

It doesn't shine her in a good light, TBH.

And the emperor giving his pledge was silly too because if you want to take down the slavery ring, you're going to have to expose all of the players no matter who they are. The promise he made to his nation is greater than any he could make to a single individual.

Exactly. She is too old to be coddling. She is now the mother of the nation. Future mother to the future ruler of that nation. If she can't handle the truth, what can she handle?

If those kids have to face the horrible things her master did to them, then she should have to face the truth. It's not fair to the victims to allow her to have some 100% perfect image and memory of her master or her father and adoptive brother.

They did these things and she's an adult she should hold them accountable. Especially if she wants to be some kind of hero. It starts with facing reality.

Because of her , they ended up staying at the location longer than they should have. The leader left the battle to save her, threw down his weapon and got stabbed, then jumped off the cliff to do what they do in Cdramas. Imma need for these writers to be more creative when he comes to forcing the ML to have alone time together. Does it ALWAYS need to involve a freaking cliff and stranded in the wilderness until they spend time in a cave?

I would have let her get carted off because HIS mission was not to escort the princess or protect her. She had a bodyguard for that. His mission was to get the prisoner to their destination and he failed because he focused on her when she shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Golden opportunity to kill the Lu jerk when he was mocking the Capt. They were just attract by bandits, you could slit his throat and blame it on the bandits. That's one less villain to deal with.

She is so annoying because this man is on a serious mission where mistakes can get him and others killed and she wants to play spoiled brat games. Making his job difficult because now, instead of focusing on his mission and making sure his prisoner doesn't escape and watching out for his min, he has to placate and waste time with this asinine woman. She's doing stuff that could get him killed like claiming he's violating her. Or trying to force him into marriage using the same tactics villains use in other dramas.

I'm actually not rooting for them at the moment, but I hope they make her character more tolerable. All she is right is a distraction to his mission. She's probably going to end up being used against him, make him drop his sword and get stabbed and all she'll be able to do is scream his name.

This should have been called "The Annoying Princess" because she is obnoxious. I'm only on ep. 2 and can't stand her.

The advice she gave the kid she should have taken herself and stabbed her dad in the throat with a pen when he came for money after breaking into her house.

Yes, that's my issue. She's only supposed to be 3 years older than him, but comes off as if she's lived a lifetime already with over a decade of experience. The chemistry just isn't there for me. In The Double, their chemistry was through the roof. The way he looked at her. The way she smiled at him. You felt that love and passion. I don't feel that with this couple.

I get your point. She's supposed to only be 3 years older than him, but act like she's 10-15 years old. I'm not really feeling the chemistry between them as much and when it started to creep in, she doused water on the flames.

SML wants to pretend like he's better and more noble, than ML but he isn't. He likes to twist scenarios to make it seem like he has more morals. Like Mingyue, he clearly heard the CP ask her if he were to refuse her , would she still do it and she said yes. But SML still wanted to make it seem like ML was forcing her and using her. But dude, you brought her to him and helped carry out the plot.

And like he told the FL, when he was trying to make himself look better, that "if he was a real assassin, your husband would have let me take you". But he wasn't a real assassin, so he didn't respond in the same way. So, how can he try to use that scenario to make his case. SML needs to find a new obsession.

SML is also very selfish. The stunt he pulled, could ruin her reputation since he was known as an assassin. Also, what kind of chaos will he cause if she never returns? If he thinks the ML is so evil, what level of revenge will ML take against her and him then? Who will suffer in their place?
