My goodness! This one was heavy. This is probably the best short drama I've seen. No punches pulled. I thought the ML in The King's Woman was toxic. This guy told him to hold his tea.
If I were her son, I'd be questioning her judgement. Like, you didn't want to stay with the man who saved you and freed you. Who would have had peace in his home. So you took me back to your family home to live with these toxic ass ppl? That was your bright idea? Leave one abusive relationship for another?
yoooooo….im on epi 4 and I JUST wrote the SAME. like shut uppppppp
You know what, the jury is still out for me for the Legend of Shen Li. I paused after he redid all the seals. It had something to do with them returning to heaven, I think. I was interested in what was going on in the human world with the princes and it felt like a detour. I'll give it another chance.
I do love when the love is unwavering. Which is why I do hate the amnesia trope. It's fine when it before they fall in love , but I don't like when the couple falls in love, but then one get amnesia and now I have to watch them try to fall in love again. Boo! I did this already. Get your damn memories back and let's keep it moving. You already love them, let's get back to that.
Those short dramas have their entertainment. I try not to take those too seriously, but I have seen some good ones. I enjoyed Stir of Echos and Tower of Whispers.

Love a strong woman!!! That's why I really enjoyed The Female General, she could hold her own. Also, My Journey To You, both had females who handled their business. And their men were ruthless and strong too. Loyal and loving.
Yeah, his killing is justified. That's the only thing I do like about the FL in this series is that she isn't really holding a negative view about him over him killing ppl. She knows he's justified and still loves him. I was happy that she didn't stay mad at him for several episodes after he made her do something she didn't want to do.

Her being helpless will work your nerves. A man as powerful as him needs a woman who can hold her own, not always be used against him. But a lot of these Cdrama love that Damsel in Distressed trope.
I love his ruthlessness when it comes to killing. But, he could have just taken that one guy, locked him away and tortured him for a century if he wanted the man to suffer a slow, painful death.
Ep. 18. Okay, the way I would have made his son tell me exactly where the Spirit Fire was BEFORE killing him. Ain't nobody got time for this level of treasure haunting. Tell me where it's act and I'll keep it moving.
I do love that he can be so cold blooded and it's all justified IMO. I like that she doesn't interfere too much with his business handling. He knows he messed up, though. 😂
Man, her jabber jaws ass never stops yapping when she's around her friend, telling her everything. This woman doesn't need to know every thing you and Grandmaster are up to. LOL
Mr. Snake isn't much of a bodyguard since he's letting sneaky chick tell him what to do.
The way I would have just killed all of these ppl. 500 years of pain and torture because of them and they still want to act wild when he's out. Still trying to plot against him to either kill him or seal him away to use as a battery again. Hell naw, they've got to go. I don't even care what their plan is, they won't be alive to carry it out. Let me have his powers and grudges. Series over with the moment that seal was broken. It's on a cracking.
So far, I'm loving it. My girl can sleep ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME. She is serious about her lounging and snacks. It was nice to see a FL character not react hysterically upon waking up with a surprise in the bed/hammock.
I didn't exactly have a smooth-sailing experience with it because I thought it got a bit draggy in the middle…
your review sold me on watching this because I was on the fence. Whenever they have a demon character, I rarely see them be cold blooded, justifiable or not. I will say that Till the End of the World did this beautifully. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that this one doesn't completely fluff up the demon. Leave him a little bit morally gray when he needs to be and open to love too.
don't look for logic in these low budget mini dramas😂
I'd be thinning the herd. You've got one chance to try to take me out. I won't give you a second. You're lucky if you get the first. As a boss, if be like Cruella Daville just so ppl know not to pull any stunts in the work place. They'd be too afraid. You can't be kind to these ppl. The sound of my metal heels click-clackin as they approach should strike fear in the hearts of those who want to cross me. If I were her. 😂
Why is she allowing these employees to bully her. This would be instant ass kicking and then firing. She's acting like the woman in the beginning. A doormat needing to be saved every five mins.
What episode are you on? because they have come clear with their feelings he’s even said he loves her. I don’t…
Yeah, we are not going to see eye to eye on this matter. Making foolish decisions that were counter productive and undermined all of the effort you put into achieving ones goal doesn't make sense to me. Especially when ones life is on the line. And the decision made wasn't necessary to begin with.
Writers just needed manufactured drama. It was entertaining.
And can I say that this dude has the sexiest deep voice .

This cop would be investigating their murders and disappearances messing around with me.
