Lol, she cared absolutely nothing about that woman who killed herself because she felt like she had no way out. She also doesn't really care about the kids her master tortured. Has she asked about them once? Has she wondered if there is a cure for them? She claims she wants to be a hero for those who need heroes, well that requires putting others before your own self interests, which she doesn't do. To me, it's all fun and games to her when she and the emperor first met. Like playing hero. Because when it's time to defeat the villains, all she can think about is how much she was lied to and how she doesn't want to think the worst of her master and family.

And the other characters don't help, like the emperor, wanting to protect her from everything like she's some delicate flower whose petals are precious. I will probably end up fast forwarding past the scenes where she is being stubborn. That's normally how I get through shows like this with annoying characters.

It is possible to criticize something you like. I never understand how ppl feel like you can't and if you have some aspects you don't like, then you need to stop watching it or listening to it, or whatever.

Why be so extreme? It's either one way or the highway? Ppl can still love a series and hate some episodes or characters, or plotlines, etc. Take Supernatural for example. 15 years running, over 125 episodes, do you think fans loved EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT IT? Do you honestly think there were no complaints along with praise?

Just because ppl have some things that annoy them about this series, doesn't mean they aren't enjoying other things about it. The comment section isn't going to be all roses and sunshine.

Why do ppl in the palace eat and drink without testing their food and beverages for poison? I wouldn't drink water without testing it. I wouldn't eat a damn cracker without testing it. I don't care who gets insulted. I'd rather you be insulted than be at my funeral.

I also never understood the logic behind the trope "I can't tell so and so the truth because it will hurt them." So, instead, you'll do all of these other things that hurt and confuse them even more, and put your own self through trauma? Make it make sense.

I'm on ep. 8 and she just discovered the smoking gun evidence in her masters home. And instead of putting two and two together, and determining that since her master was the Ghost King they were looking for and perhaps that's why he died and he was hoping she never find out and that's why the emperor can't tell her.

Instead of coming to that conclusion like Batman would have, she chooses to disregard what's in front of her. Blame the emperor for planting evidence. Fine, let's ask some common sense question, since she lacking.

1. Okay, where did he get the evidence? Is it legit?
2. How did he know that place was even there, hidden in the man's home?
3. If he had all of that evidence, then sure, he should know who the Ghost King is, right?
4. What could be his motivation for planting evidence and killing her master?
5. How did the emperor decide that her master should be the one he sets up and not some other person?
6. Children were harmed for this, does she think the emperor did that? When he was also the one who shut the site down?
7. How come the stone children aren't with him? How come the one who attacked them, saved their attacker?

Or, she can just face the hard , cruel truth that the person she thought she knew, wasn't who she thought he was. Doing so will open her eyes and perspective to all of the evils around her.

She can only be pure and innocent for long before she becomes gullible and foolish. This is why ppl are losing patience with her attitude. She doesn't want to accept facts because it takes away from her own self-righteousness. She just KNEW she had a good reason to hate the emperor, and doesn't want to admit her anger is misdirected.

So the crazy princess can go sit down somewhere because she claims she wants the emperor dead, wants SOMEONE else to kill him, but then wants to complain when they don't. You want him dead, YOU do it! Seems like she's blaming him for something he didn't do too.

This is why I'd always be telling ppl what really happened, cause what you're NOT going to do is accuse me of something I didn't do with your imagined slights.

I do get annoyed when the full truth isn't revealed when it needs to be. When she was blaming him for her masters death. He should have told the whole truth. That he found her master but she refused to leave with him. Instead, she chose to work with Rong. He didn't "force" her to do anything. Rong betrayed her and he was smart enough to not fully trust her the way her master did.

She can still have her attitude and be mad, but be mad about the right things. Not imagined slights. Be mad that he just stood there and didn't fight where he could have thinned the heard of assassins before they had a chance to kill her master. But regardless, with her master choosing to attack the emperor, her death was inevitable. She needs to understand that too. Her master didn't want her to know either. It's not ALL on ML.

You know when I first saw this comment I was on episode 16 and I laughed because I kind of understood what you was coming from but not all the way.

But by episode 28 I was like oh that's what they were talking about cuz yeah both of these men are trash and they put her through a lot . But I will say, FML is a lot better choice in the sense that he seems to respect her as an equal. He doesn't try to trap her the way the other guy does like he did even help her leave that one time but she came back. When they were in Yeulo, I think that's what's called, she was free and got the experience all that fun that she didn't get the experience before. His backstory is more understandable because he's had to keep his secrets and fight to the death to survive. He's a hard shell to crack, but he's coming out. He redeemable, but still should leave her alone.

SML is just crazy. He doesn't respect her wishes, her feelings or her needs. It's all about what HE wants and that's to keep her like a pretty bird in a cage for him to gaze at. He calls the things she likes or wants to do "trivial" and flatout ignores her when she tells him something he doesn't want to hear. She needs to treat him the same way she treats FML. If she can yell, stab, and slap him, she needs to do that to SML. The time for being polite has passed with him.

The way to sneak out of the palace and get your freedom is to play the long game. Go mad, so mad, they put you in the Cold Palace or some far away palace with minimal guards. One night, pretend to be a maid and sneak out and never look back. If you have the ruthlessness in you, kill a maid, dress her up in your clothes, take hers, set the place on fire and that way, they won't look for you. That's the best way.

I would have left that damn town to its fate. Trying to argue reason and survival with ppl not listening isn't in my plans. I'd say, "If you open the gates, they will die anyway and then so will all of you. This is why you've been losing all your wars. Only one amongst you knew to close those gates no matter what and unfortunately, he's dead. Now the remaining elders and everyone here need to figure out what's important. Your individual pain, or the entirety of your city falling to ruin. You want your children killed or enslaves? Your wives, Mothers? Let me know, because I'll stop trying to save you and leave you to your fate."

If that won't calm ppl down and get them focused on winning the war, then I would totally leave them.

As for these two men, she needs to treat Pei the SAME way she can treat Wen when she's mad. Scream, yell And tell him you don't want to see him ever again. She always grows overly polite when dealing with him which allows him to pretend he's not hearing the words she's speaking. Start attacking him if you must. The time for being polite and acting gracious to him has long since passed.

The way this series ended, I don't know what she wanted and neither did she. The majority of the series is her dozing her boring days away. I'm not sorry I watched it, but never again.

13 eps in. Both leads use her to their needs, but only SML treats her like caged bird. FML lets her stretch her wings, or unless he would if she didn't cling to SML. FML sees her more as an equal where as SML sees her as property. But neither are healthy choices for her IMO.

Let me add that her cocky friend is also not as smart as she thinks she is. And why in the hell is she steady going to work with all hell breaks lose? You have bigger worries than your paycheck right now.

They underestimated the stranger they pulled into their scheme by NOT doing research on him. Then they allowed him to have access to the phone with ALL of the data on it. That phone should not have ever left her hand. She already took him to the airport, and planned for him to be an embezzler, so it would make sense for him to ditch his phone. She should have destroyed it as soon as she could. They were dumb for that. And when she had him in her car and he fell asleep, that was the moment to stab him in his throat, burn the car , and act like you barely escaped with your life after being threatened.

She could claim that he made her pick up someone else or that someone was already in the car with her to make her pick him up and the other person escaped whole she barely got away. Run on the road, hysterically flagging down traffic. Rip your clothes and act like you were attacked. Just to throw out a better plan than what she came up with.

Once they knew he had the phone with the location, they should have went back and moved the body.

I mean, at LEAST take the money and gold you found in the safe and you and your friend leave. Since they made entirely too many mistakes.

I personally thought she missed her opportunity when she was trying to fly out. She should have had her mom and cat with her. That way, she could have gotten on the plane together and not looked back. She needed to plan everything better, but she didn't really plan things. Get to America where you can get a gun for sure. If possible, change your identity. Or just make him a bath and then toss his cell phone in it that's still plugged into a non waterproof socket.

I've got to say it. The wife isn't the smartest. At the very least, she should have changed the damn lock code to her home!

It's hard trying to get away with crime when your partner in crime is a nervous wreck. Jittery as hell whenever something unexpected comes up. Like, girl, if you don't play it smooth!!!!

She should have told the mother in law, "he told me he was going on a business trip. He doesn't really tell me much about his business."

Considering they know he beats her and manipulates her, being ignorant of his comings and goings would make sense.

I knew the moment she was talking that she knew and didn't care. It's just a way for her to make money.

Why in the hell did she keep the damn snow globe. That's supposed to get cleaned, out into a bag and then smashed. Why the hell is she opening the door for ppl!!! You could just pretend you're not home! Opening the door for the neighbor. Screw that, she could leave those tangerines right there. And not checking who was at the door before responding? Now you have to deal with his sister who doesn't care you're getting beat. Let that demon leave your house ASAP, don't offer to make her nuthin!

And this chick with this seeing blood break down .. get it together! If she hadn't been tripping about non existent blood, her friend wouldn't have had to deal with that parking attendant. You two women need to tighten up.

I hope they used gloves when handling the body and case. Clean the hell out of that trunk. Go back and clean the house again too. Hole wasn't deep enough. I can see these possibly going to jail. 😂

I'm waiting for that part and I hope they don't drag it out. I don't think so. That's what I meant. 35 episodes of martial arts goodness and political intrigue.

You see this type of scenario a lot in Cdramas that's why I'm not surprised her character is being written that way.

I will say that I don't think she will stay as stubborn because if she truly believes she's a good person, the. She has to face the facts and help those in need.
