Yeah, if he wants her to be his partner, then he needs to stop excluding her from everything. She didn't ask him to do that and shows more distrust when he does. It's foolish for him to continue to keep her in the dark like he needs to protect her. But in without pertinent information from her, he's actually endangering her and in addition, himself.

That is what I find annoying about their relationship because she already knows her master was the GK, and she knows he told him not to tell her. So what is he still trying to hide by not having that conversation that could shed light on why he did what he did so that she doesn't think he just used her to get to her master.

It's things like that which I don't blame the characters. I blame the trifling writers. It's lazy plotting.

As expected, she was furious that he didn't tell her that he was the dragon prince and had to get married. She felt betrayed and that he didn't trust her or care about her enough to be honest when she was completely honest with him about everything.

She chewed him up and spit him out when he tried to say that they were "strangers" when they first met, but she wasn't having that because of everything they had been through after all of that. She told him he had plenty of chances to come clean and he still refused. She felt like she didn't mean anything to him and tried to give him back the magical protection items he'd given her. He refused to take them back because he told her she was very important to him, but those weren't the words she wanted to hear. She was still hurt because she was falling for him. And she had to find out the truth from the woman he was supposed to marry while helping the evil City Lord with her illness.

As of now, he might be coming out of the hot water with her because he saved her from her own stupidity in ep. 14.

I was disappointed in him after he gave her that pill that could have cured him. He was supposed to take care of himself because HE is the ruler of the entire nation, not her. She wouldn't even be next in line to rule.

And on top of that, he didn't even warn her about her dad poisoning her. What if he does it again and she's none the wiser and eats something else because she trust it. He doesn't have anymore antidotes that would save her a second or third time.

Yes, when he's focused on his kingdom, he's smart. But for her, he takes risks where he has to hope luck is on his side.

I saw a post where someone asked why the rating was getting lower and I know for me, it's because it's the same scenario being repeated over and over again. FL is so stuck on mistrusting and love- hating the ML their story is stagnant. If they move one step forward, they take 2 steps back because she just can't reconcile her feelings with the ML.

But I find it interesting that she later discovers her best FF was an assassin for the sect that is her enemy and she didn't even bat and eye. So, that tells me she can move on. 21/35 eps in and this is dragging. Because ML won't tell FL about her murderous father who keeps sending assassins after them like a cartoon villain.

I want to know how this ends, but it's a struggle TBH.

I really enjoyed it... Well not the amnesia part where she was being used by the villain only because I don't like amnesia tropes in the middle of a series. I feel like I've invested time, emotions, and energy into watching the couple fall in love the first time. Now I've got to do it all over again until they regain their memory to fill in the blanks. Boooo. So, that part dampened my enjoyment. But overall, I loved how consistent he was in his badassness. I loved that she didn't judge him for killing ppl who needed killing. Their romance was sweet. I think I rated it like a 9

Which makes him unworthy to be the emperor because it's the country that he's putting that woman over.

And it's always only enough to make 1 antidote. 😂

FL is naive AND arrogant. She hasn't left her hometown but acts like she knows everything.

Sigh .. another plotline where a MC wants to keep a secret from the other MC when it's stupid to do so. When was he planning on telling her the truth? After they fell in love. "Oh by the way, I've got to marry this other chick. Or when she's dying. "I'm getting my dragon tattoo back cause you're dying and by the way, I have to marry this other chick "

It made no sense for him to keep that secret from her and now he's looking like he's in a bind because she had to find out from everyone else.

I'm enjoying this little gem. Nice chemistry between the leads. Nice action scenes and fun side characters and villains.

Ahhh, as a fan of vampire lore, I do tend to get bored with the depressed vampire trope. If you're bored, get a normal job like the immortals do in Highlander. Interact with ppl without using your powers to make it interesting. Run for political office, become a crime boss, a soldier, whatever. But, yeah, I'd be bored too if all I did was stay int the house all day and mope.

Anyway, FL was beyond boring, so are most characters with her personality profile. And the way she was dressed like someone's grandma from the 40s didn't help add any flair to her role.

Missed opportunity for a BL series, IMO. The two brothers had more passion than the ML and FL.

I like the ML, but it was the chance to see him as a vampire that made me want to watch this. I wish it was more vampire in this series and less nonsense with this flower.

She is just matching energy, turning their own schemes against them.

What I like about it so far. Ruthless FL. She wants blood on her hands, literally and physically. I appreciate that. Get em girl! Show no mercy.

What I fear is her being stupid and falling for every trap. I hope she learned how to fight in the time she took to prepare. Nothing I hate worse than a woman plotting revenge for years only to not know how to kick ass or outsmart ppl because she underestimated them.

The ML has my undivided attention as he is cool, calm, and deadly. Just the way I like em.

Had it been me, they would have ask me if I wanted to be the new family head and I would have said. "Hell naw". And when they asked why not, because they always act surprised. I would have reminded them that not even a week ago, they tried to kill me. So, they can pretend like they were successful and figure it out themselves. I'm gone. Bye.

Fun so far. I love the FL firey personality, that's the strongest aspect of the show. ML is a bit stoic, but I like him so far. I'm sure he'll grow on me even more when they admit their true feelings as these stories go.

I'm looking forward to more jealous wannabe lovers and scheming too.
