Title Dear X
UM....Girly had her life on the line and also she's not responsible for anyone else. All the men had no lives…
And you should look up what manipulator is so that you can understand that ppl who manipulate others into giving them what they want aren't good ppl. Also look up the meaning of villain , perpetrator, and victim.

You mentioned "coerced" as an excuse as to why the men should be blamed. I pointed out the fact that logic matches the mindset of ppl who don't want to face consequences for their actions and crimes.

It's a reason why the guy exposed her at the end. It's a reason why she was always worried about ppl's vengeance in the story. It's a reason why her victims suffered. It's a reason why so many ppl who knew her had negative experiences with her.

Just because she was a woman who had a hard life doesn't mean she can just treat ppl the way she did. Bottomline.

And in real life, I hold ppl accountable for their actions. Not make up excuses for them. I do want to point out that you started with the insults and personal attacks against me because you didn't like that I don't agree with you, which says a lot about your character. I do hope you have a nice day.

i think she married him cause she had no other choice. he already showed her his power by how easily he removed…
These are still her choices that she's making. This is the point I'm trying to make. She still made the decision to quickly marry that man because he promised her a life she wanted. For the record, I never said you said she married out of love. I'm simply pointing out the fact that she is selfishly motivated and she saw a huge opportunity into becoming a rich man's wife AND a top actress which was her dream. As long as she could get that, she didn't care how. It just turned out the cost was more than she was willing to pay. But she had a trump card to play with her lapdog when he allowed himself to be killed so that she could have leverage. She was on top of the world at that point. Knowing she had some power over him. I personally enjoyed watching her downfall because she was a callous, greedy, and selfish person. Yes, who wants to go back to being destitute? But not everyone uses ppl the way she did to get ahead and those who do, don't deserve my praise or support.

All in all, I really enjoyed this series and her role as that villain.

UM....Girly had her life on the line and also she's not responsible for anyone else. All the men had no lives…
You're claiming she never "coerced" anyone into doing anything for her, but that isn't true. She manipulated them like what cult leaders do.. That is the logic con artists use when trying to remain blameless. "I never forced or coerced anyone into giving me their money" when in fact, they manipulated ppl into trusting them.

Yes, those men did those things for her of their own free will because she made them care about her. She smiled, she used her sweetest voice, and beauty to encourage them to fall in love with her. She wanted them to feel like she was vulnerable so that they'd want to save her from danger.

She implanted herself into the lives of that baseball player and actor. Had she not targeted them, had she not placed herself into their lives, neither of those men would have ended up the way they did. She saw easy marks and she went work in molding them to be useful tools for her own ambition.

I'm blaming her because she is the source of the problem. I can hold a con artist victim accountable by saying "you should have known better than to believe a Nigerian Prince needs your bank account to transfer money*. But who's the villain. Them for falling for the scam or the person who scammed them?

That's who she was. When the actor died, she didn't even make a statement of condolences or go to the funeral to give comfort to the little brother. Showing compassion during that time would have helped her public image. But she was so heartless, that's how she got into more trouble.

She married him because he promised to give her everything she ever wanted. She had JUST met the man. Did zero research into who he was before marrying him. Did they even date? She saw that he was powerful. That he could move mountains for her if she wanted it or needed it. That is why she kept the other two men around. She didn't love him. She didn't love anyone. But she loved what he could do for her. That is why she grinned like she'd won the lottery when he slipped that diamond on her finger after only two 3-minute long meetings. She was flattered this powerful man was making her life easier. Plain and simple because that was her pattern when it came to men. She liked when they did her bidding. Notice that she wasn't scared for her life when he told her to marry him. She didn't look confused or concerned. She saw opportunity and she took it. That mess just backfired on her. And when it came time for her to need help again, she did what she always did. She called the saddest of her trained puppies to do her bidding.

UM....Girly had her life on the line and also she's not responsible for anyone else. All the men had no lives…
Let you tell the story, she's blameless in everything that she's done.

The baseball player wouldn't have been in that situation to save his career, had she not targeted him to use him to kill her father. Destroyed evidence that hurt his defense when he said it was a stalker. She purposely worked at his cafe to gain his affection only to use it against him when the time came for her to set up her father. Why didn't she just kill her dad herself? Naw, she doesn't like to get her hands dirty.

The actor didn't want to get into a relationship with her. So she targeted his grandmother, stole her journal to get inside information she could use in order to manipulate that woman into accepting her JUST so that she could worm her way into the actor's life. A plan she plotted for 1 year and when she was done using him to boost her image, she casted him aside as cruelly as she could. And didn't bother to show a shred of human decency or compassion toward his brother who'd lost his grandmother prior to his older
brother.

The two fools, because that's what they were for obsessing over her "happiness" she only called them when she needed them. If she didn't need them, she could care less if they were alive or dead. I blame them for their obsession with her. Should have left her crazy behind alone. But one idiot loved being "useful" to her and she loved taking advantage of that. And the other felt guilt into protecting her from pain and she made sure to dig that dagger in every chance she got to keep him feeling guilty so that he could always be the guy she depended on.

Not once did she ever do anything for anyone else. All her actions were selfishly motivated and that's why, at the end, she was exposed.

What I won't do is excuse bad behavior and not hold ppl accountable for their actions like you. She's is not entirely the victim here. She purposely sought out the cafe owner to use him to kill her father and didn't give a damn that he lost 5 years of his life and his business trying to do a good thing for her. She should be held responsible for that. She even took away the hat as evidence to make him look even more guilty. She used that actor to boost her career, making sure she played the part of a loving GF, until he fell in love, then she broke his heart and didn't even care enough to show up at his funeral. She plotted, exploited ppl, used their blind devotion to her to her benefit.

Did she have a hard life when she was younger? Yes. But let us NOT pretend that she was always a victim of circumstances when a lot of those circumstances as I've pointed out, came from her own choices.

And just because some of her adversaries were AH, doesn't negate the fact that she was an AH, too.

She was so quick to marry someone handsome with power, money and influence she didn't bother to ask any more questions about him. She got tangled up with someone crazier than she was. Lol. It's like he wants to see if he can break someone he thought was strong. That's his hobby.

To be honest, I didn't feel sorry for her. I felt bad for three men she manipulated to get what she wanted. She only called them when she needed them and their blind devotion was exactly what she used to get revenge on ppl. She chose a lot of the path she traveled. And really didn't want to take any personal responsibility for her actions, always blaming other ppl for how she "turned out".

She didn't have to marry that guy. She didn't bother to even talk to anyone else about it. She made that executive decision because she thought dude was another man she could use to her advantage. As she was so accustomed to doing and ended up suffering the consequences of her decision.

I did like that she played dirty with ppl who came after her first. But the 3 men she used didn't deserve her manipulation. So in the end, she got what she deserved. She was a well-played villain.

This republican era drama is more on the boring side, but Ren Shi Hao dragged me into this 😁
That's because the writers are relying on the overused trope of the FL pretending she's not as into the ML as she really is. Not only that, but you don't see enough of the villain being the villain. FL is dull, to be honest. One min, she tells the ML they should work together, but then proceeds to pull stunts without consulting with him but expecting him to go along. Then when he asks her for the slightest of anything, she pushes him away with lame excuses or tells him to mind his own Business.

She's tiresome.

Making characters stupid to extend the plot is annoying. Of all the dragons, only the brother's aura is red. That doesn't concern the dragons? Why did it take so long for them to figure out that FL was the true Saintess when they were using her mother's blood to give to the fake one?

This should have been 24 eps like the rest of the short series. It would have had tighter writing with less need for fluff.

Question Does the second ML want the FL only because she loves the ML? Like even when the 2ML thought our ML was…
Because he wants what he's told he cannot have. He wants to conquer everything and everyone. He wants her to love him the way she loved his brother.

If his brother was smarter, he should have killed him once he got back from enemy territory instead of bluffing with that letter and allowing his older brother to outsmart him. Let's hope THIS experience makes him smarter since being betrayed the first two times didn't. He didn't even tell the queens about their spies he knew about or remove them. He actually got what he deserved for being so stupid.

And if FL was smarter and more ruthless, she'd let that pain turn into hate and marry the king and kill him on their wedding night catching him off guard mid climax. Of course after it's confirmed that her family disowned her.

Vengeance is a dish best served cold.

Hwi damn near fell for every trap because of his moral compass. When you enemy is horrible, then you need to think like they do, NOT how you would act. Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. He should have killed his brother and uncle a long time ago. Expecting the man to change just because he told him to was foolish. How many times did him and his mother tell him to stop but he wouldn't. You keep giving a villain multiple chances to fight you, one day they'll win.

To prove my point about him being foolish was he trust his brother and SIL who arranged his wedding. So the ppl who you know scheme against you all of the time and have actively fought to prevent your marriage all of a sudden now are rushing to arrange it and that doesn't give you pause for concern?

Yes, the emperor begged him not to let any family die .. but his brother and uncle don't consider themselves to be their family anyway. They never loved them, so they should be the exception. .

FL is dumb too because has ANY OF YOUR BEGGING ever worked with this mofo? You've known him for over 3 years, did you think he'd give you what you wanted just because you got down on your knees and cried? If you're smart, he if kills your man, give into him. Give him exactly what he wants and then slowly kill him and his wife with poison. Do it in a way that looks like a sickness. Play that long game because revenge is a dish best served cold. Make sure to drink the Toni that prevents pregnancy too because you don't want him to have that joy. Or if you really want that dish served frozen, let him think you're going to have his baby but don't. Watch his joy turn to disappointment.

And if I were Hwi, after everything that went down. The way I'd take the time on the island to reflect, and harden my heart so that I could become an assassin. I'd kill EVERYONE who framed me and who posed a threat to the king. When the king got older, I'd be his hidden blade to keep his enemies at bay.

What is it with this dragon prince? Can he not just tell his father why he thinks that the FL is the real war…
I agree. Like, why didn't he tell his father that they used the blood of a real priestess to trick the Sanctuary. He didn't even say that. He just said they used dark blood magic. He is supposed to be this badass dragon warrior prince, but he didn't think to take the mother out of the prison and transport her there as his proof of what happened. It's like he WANTS to lose at life.

And what's with the FL acting all helpless all of a sudden? And might I add, stupid. She she drank that moose blood no questions asked, in her attempt to save the doctor. Fool! What if that was poison? And how does dying save someone in those circumstances. They could have just poisoned you and STILL killed the doctor. And apparently she had to learn that she couldn't save that doctor at all because the doctor kept walking into trouble.
On Marry Him in Her Place Dec 2, 2025
So... Her bright idea was to do what with that opium?! Are you crazy? This is a drama where the FL thinks everything she's accomplished is by her own merits and is hot and cold with the ML. One min she's asking him to work with her and the next she's telling him to mind his own business and I guess it's a good thing he doesn't because she always needs saving.

I know if I were the emperor, every soldier who betrayed their oath would die when I regained my power. I'd show no mercy. Because if I can't trust you to protect me, to do your job, to uphold your oath, then what good are you?

They didn't get any decree from the Emperor to do what they did. They just fell in line and with loyalties that brittle, I don't need you around. I'd make sure that they were cautionary tales Vlad the Impaler style. Spikes up the ass to die slow deaths. I won't care if ppl call me a tyrant. Don't cross me and you won't end up like them.
