Cha Jeongwon and Jin Sehun are a match made in heaven... for how dumb they are both being. They're going after…
They act like they forgot about the savage loan shark who threatens to kill ppl all of the time. Why isn't she a suspect they're looking at? That is also what makes them stupid.
I'm going to say this. She is stupid for repeatedly getting drunk while trying to get revenge, while living in the house of her enemy. What sense does that make? She needs to be alert at all times, not falling over herself, stupid wasted.
Also, if she not saved her sister when those men were about to attack her and instead killed her, she could have spares herself and her maid a lot of drama and pain. She already knew her sister has it coming, why let her live?
Why is she acting so stupid now in eps 25 and 26? Trusting Prince Han so quickly? She doesn't know anything really about the man other than his blatant disrespect for her husband? Running off at the mouth to the man, exposing Jin's identity.
I haven't started S3 yet. waiting for more ep to build. I do hope he's able to overcome his trauma with the whistle sound. I'm always worried his opponents will figure it out and that puts him in danger.
Really? I've seen way better. It is average at best. The ML gives it flare, but the FL is nothing special. Have…
I'm almost finished with it, but yeah, the FL is so stupid. She makes the dumbest decisions. The whole reason she married the emperor was to have an heir. Supposedly, that's the only way to protect her family. Even though the current king could just pardon them. But she not only agrees to be the prince's slave, going to his home, she also allows him to kiss her all of the time and even had sex with him. At this point, shouldn't her family already be doomed? Even if she did have the king's child, who would believe it?
This is the type of series where you're mainly watching to see what kind of tomfoolery the ML will come up with to make the FL his.
I can tell the king is going to be a villain because I'm sure he lied about what he told the queen about the Prince.

I'm only on ep. 3 but I'm already not impressed with the trope of lying for the "greater good" when no good ever comes from it.
The whole telling him she never loved him because she thinks he'll kill the imperial family and whisk her away, leaving her family in danger. But he could still kill the Imperial family in blind rage and whisk her away. Telling him the truth is going to hurt too, but at least he is treated with the respect of knowing the truth. Now she has to deal with an angry, heartbroken, vengeful, petty, powerful bastard.
Also, she and the Emperor have to be the dumbest, weakest, spineless rulers ever. They get zero respect, not even from the servants. Damn shame.
But on a positive, I'm enjoying the shenanigans . plenty of eye candy and I like the aggressiveness of the ML. I hope FL rises to the occasion.
I 💯% agree. FL has become typical. Even in Ep. 16 she gets all emotional about to expose herself like an idiot.…
I love when the FL is actually smart and the ML is her unwavering support. Or vice versa. I hate when they try to make it seem like the FL is smart, when she's actually stupid and whatever success she has, she acts like she did it on her own when in actuality, the ML has been saving her all along. This one is like that.
She says she wants to work with him, but never tells her her plans beforehand, but he's the one saving her from her mess.
Stop casting these actresses who keep giving dead fish kisses please😭😭
OMG I hate that too. It makes me feel awkward looking at them kiss when there is no connection or passion. Just two lips barely pressed together. Ugh. I usually fast forward since the key moment we've all been waiting for was ruined.
This drama started out really well, it was interesting and different. That was until the writers started to force…
I 💯% agree. FL has become typical. Even in Ep. 16 she gets all emotional about to expose herself like an idiot. But she walks around all cocky like she's ten steps ahead of everyone else. When in reality, she can't even keep up. If not for ML she'd be dead already in ep. 1.
ML is playing it smooth even taking her rejection with grace. Even taking her unnecessary hostility and insults with integrity.
The FL in The Palace Gambit was much better and smarter.
FL hasn't done anything exceptional since ep. 10. Both her and ML walking around like they can't fight. FL gives into every demand from the villain without a fight. What happened to the FL who defied her enemies in the earlier episodes? She's become boring. This series started off interesting but so many episodes where the Leads are weak are getting tedious.
ML is also boring. It's almost like he doesn't care what happens.
They can give the FL poison and her goofy butt with take it without question. Like, weren't you killing assassins earlier? What happened? This really should have been 24 eps and no more than that.
Was that a joke? "Even the way he walks is lame." ☺️
That joke is also true. He is unremarkable. I don't even like the way the costumes look on him. The way he stands seems like he lacks confidence. I think a lot of it boils down to him not being able to act well enough to carry the role.
I'm on ep. 23 and I've enjoyed every single episode. There were times when I wanted to cuss out the FL for being stupid only to have to eat my words because it turns out, it was all a part of her plan. I like being wrong because so much is always predictable. So, if a series can throw me off my game and surprise me, I'm here for it.
ML, though. Is boring. His facial expressions are off. HIs role in the series is off. even the way he walks is lame. He's no Gao Ming Chen. LOL
Ep 15 Fl is so unreasonable, I am getting headaches watching her actions. She is smart at one moment and at the…
I will say that I agree with you about the ML. He is so boring and I think a part of that is his acting and the other half is his role. But FL is still cunning. Every time I think she's done something stupid, it turns out to be part of her plan to trap her enemies. I've learned to stop criticizing her motives until I see the end result.
Why would you threaten or insult a man who knows all of your dirty business and has cleaned it up. A man whose expertise is security and monitoring people so that he can stage / manipulate crime scenes. Assemblyman Baek and his son were beyond stupid. lol
Meanwhile, ML turns himself in not really know if he's even saving anyone. Dude could still kill the father and daughter while he's in jail. Nothing is stopping him from doing so. He should have taken the deal, played the long game enough to get close to the guy, get your evidence, then if need be, fight to the death.
Or be smart. Kill dude first, THEN expose all of the evidence. It'll be easier that way. This guy is too powerful, even if he went to prison for it to really matter. He'll either become the prison kingpin, or get out through connections.
He’s not a killer though. That’s why he’s just punching to get them to be unconscious
It's got nothing to do with being a killer, it's self defense. Why keep allowing someone to attack you over and over until what, they get lucky and end you? Both Capt America and the Punisher will kill their enemies. That doesn't make them bad ppl, it makes them ruthless to those who are vicious to them.
And like I said before, even if he doesn't want to kill them, maim them so that they are no longer threats. That guy nearly killed him during the race, twice. It's a TV series he's the hero, so of course he lives. But getting hit by a fortified SUV at top speed would using kill a person or at least disable them. Had it been more realistic, that would have been his fate. Story over.
I'm on ep. 4 and it's pretty damn good so far. But it always frustrates me when ppl never try to fight smarter against those trying to kill them. You're wasting time punching and tiring yourself out, when you should just be stabbing. They're trying to stab you, no need to be nice.
And IF you don't want to kill, AT LEAST be extra vicious. Break bones, slash, stab, maim and rip so that they won't keep getting up to come after you. He'd take a lot less damage if he stopped showing them mercy. He needs to kill them anyway. These are the type of ppl who won't suffer in jail because of their power and influence.
Also, if she not saved her sister when those men were about to attack her and instead killed her, she could have spares herself and her maid a lot of drama and pain. She already knew her sister has it coming, why let her live?

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm enjoying it.
