Its both. She kept not acknowledging she knew him and every time she slipped and said that she knew something about him she made up an excuse about finding it online. He kept probing and building up on her story. Knowing that the other person was (secretly) looking through her excuses and enjoying it is really not nice. It's like he is mocking her. It’s not just embarrassment but she is 'exposed' and can't face him. She wants to get away from the situation stat. The key is communication but not when her emotions are all over. Needs a cooling period. That's my take on her reaction.

Maybe the one I truly liked about him back then was not his cold elegance or mature demeanor but rather his kindness and gentleness which is superior to others. Despite the pain and hardships he faced, he chose to be kind-hearted. After hardships passed, he still keeps his gentle nature. Then whether he is talkative or not, Immature or not, secular or elegant doesn't matter to me anymore
