The amazon prime drama is the movie that was shown in Japan + additional scenes, so you only need to watch the drama. It's not really a sequel, I believe (but I haven't seen the original movie, so I'm not sure how many scenes were added). It's on prime because amazon was involved with production of the whole thing, even the initial movie. So basically you only need to watch the drama to get the full experience.

Yes, they are different. The movie is a direct continuation of season 1 before season 2 starts. The movie should be watched after season 1 because there are many spoilers.
