Nice short, even though the ending is semi-sad

Informa was quite incredible for me. I didn't think I would like it as much based on the first few minutes (since I don't usually watch yakuza stuff), but I am glad I decided to stick around and not drop it. The actors did exceptionally well and you could feel their chemistry in every scene. As always, the instrumental OST by Tsutsumi Yusuke was on point, it really gave it a very special kind of atmosphere. The villains were very interesting and quite compelling. What I'll always remember Informa by is how quickly they made me care for the characters which is something a lot of content can't achieve. If you enjoyed Avalanche, you'll most likely enjoy this one as well since it's made by the same people.

I will always remember that "Merry Christmas". I never would have thought this drama would go in such a direction! Definitely some twists here and there. Still, it was a very unique production, no wonder this drama got several awards.

That one's really one of the best! I really loved Boys' Lockdown (2020) as well. It was very sweet. But I am not sure if you'll be able to handle it if you are from PH. My Filipino friends can barely stomach some Filipino BLs haha. Anyway, I hope we won't be disappointed with this one!

I have been looking forward to this ever since Easy Ferrer announced it. The first episode was so good! There hasn't been a Filipino BL to really interest me in quite a while, so I am glad I finally have one!

Not that much different! But it's just the first episode, so hard to say what will be added next. The runtime is the exact same. There are some slight changes and some new monologues added, but it's more or less the same thing (for now at least). The monologues add a nice touch, though!

I subbed this movie in case anyone wants to check it out! Ideally, you should watch this movie after completing S1 of Ie Naki Ko drama as the movie spoils a major plot point. But watching at least the first 2-3 episodes of the drama is quite enough to familiarize yourself with some of the characters.

Really fun and fast-paced drama. I loved how all the characters were so formidable, even the police. The script was very solid, I couldn't really spot any obvious plotholes.

Amazing drama! The combo of Anne and Kamikawa Takaya was perfection. If you want to watch a drama about combating workplace abuse and corruption, then this here is one of the best. It was predictable in some ways, but that wasn't the point at all, the point was the message behind each case. They also used humor quite well, so the drama didn't feel heavy and the episodes didn't feel very formulaic. It was a very enjoyable watch for me. 10/10

I got so invested in the leads from episode 1. They were both such interesting characters and Sakaki's character was so precious. I wish it was longer. The theme song is so addicting and fitting. 10/10

Thank you for the lovely comment! I am sorry about the slow updates, I have been too busy and drained, but I will definitely finish the first season one day! So probably best to wait until then before you start watching. I do plan on subbing the movie as well! I actually wanted to start working on it a few days ago, but then I thought I should finish the first season before I start working on it. Domoto Koichi is so nice, I loved him in Wakaba no Koro. 90s jdramas hit differently, there's so much that happened in the two episodes that I subbed! I love the music in this drama and the theme song, that was the main reason for me picking it up. Plus it's such a popular drama, it's almost a crime there are no subs for it yet! I think season 1 serves as a standalone season, but I wouldn't mind doing season 2 at some point (first I need to finish season 1 though). I am quite sure Domoto Koichi doesn't appear in the first season and he's listed here incorrectly on MDL (as expected from 90s dramas, people don't really edit much for those).

This is basically like a variety show/reality show. It gives me Yarinaoshitai First Kiss vibes.

"Humans are more monstrous than monsters". After finishing this drama, I still don't know how to feel about it and its ending. I was actually very excited to watch it after hearing the theme song, but it had a very depressing atmosphere to it. Considering that the main villains were basically running around rampant and uncontested for the entire run or the fact that they killed off two of my favourite characters in one episode, I can't really say it was the best. The acting also wasn't very impressive in some scenes, but that's expected from such a short format drama. It had some really cool and interesting monsters, but sadly almost all of them died. It did look amazing in 4K and some scenes were really creative. The special effects were pretty cool for a lower budget drama. There were some plot holes now and then, but they were bearable. 7/10
