Too many tropes
Secret Garden was a bit of a marathon to get through. It felt like they threw in every K-drama trope imaginable: the classic poor girl-rich guy dynamic, the naive girl paired with the arrogant guy, and of course, the inevitable memory loss. It was a lot to take in!
While some moments were charming, the overuse of these clichés made it feel predictable and dragged out. It had its entertaining parts, but overall, it was a lot to take in!
