So based on the little BrightWin vids that came out yesterday, they said this movie can only be seen in theaters?? I'm in the US, how can we access it?? I'm also getting my wisdom teeth removed that day, so as soon as I'm not high on the drugs, I will try to find this thing any way I can, lol
I haven't finished episode 4 yet but I really think, thus far, we haven't focused nearly enough on Shu Yi ghosting…
I don't think Shi De has it in him to be mad at Shu Yi for anything really, lol. One, he loved him for years and years, everything including his faults. Two, even after they got together, he was waiting for Yi to find a reason to leave him because in his mind he still wasn't good enough.
Because of the delay with the eng subs today, I watched the whole thing not understanding anything, and still cried like three times. I've watched some of the clips with subs, cried some more, and now I'm waiting til later to properly watch the whole thing and jus sob it out. Woof.
Everyone else watched each episode at least two times, right? One for first impressions, then another to get every little detail? Did I watch episode 2 like 5 times, yes, but this is normal, right, right?! Ugh, I just love them so much.
Ok, the reasoning her is not as groundbreaking as I thought it'd be and I still love Shi De. I did suspect the dad was involved AND also suspected he created Alpha to somehow get back into Shu Yi's life. Dad didn't know Shi De was involved when the company was acquired, but Shi De had to know it was Shu Yi's dad's company, yes? I'm seeing a ton of posts about Shi De being the most in the wrong here, but I don't know. Yes, he was not communicating with Shu Yi often enough and we still have no idea what the hospital bills were about, who the baby is, and why he was in America for so long. BUT, Shu Yi clearly had his own issues going on and it doesn't seem like he communicated them to Shi De either. He did not tell Shi De about his dad's ultimatums, or that he was apparently going to join the military. I think Shi De still had it in his mind he liked Shu Yi more than Shu Yi liked him. I don't think he'd ever expect him to give up everything to be with him, which he clearly was. Flash forward to the dad (who is more likeable than he should be) saying Shu Yi dumped him. Shi De, still having the mentality his feelings were stronger, probably felt like he not only had to prove himself to the dad, but also had to prove himself to Shu Yi. Sadly, I don't think Shi De realized the Shu Yi missed him as much as he did for all of those years.
Well those are my theories/feelings/observations
I do think there could have been more of a twist in the writing here, but I still think all of these actions and decisions are still extremely true to these characters we fell in love with in S1. I will love this show no matter what.
Ok, before criticize Shi De, let's sit a moment and think about what this episode told us.First, Shu Yi go to…
Shi De was also not contacting him before Shu Yi went to America. I love Shi De, not trying to say he started it, but there was that whole hospital bill thing and he was clearly not communicating with Shu Yi. On the OTHER hand, Shu Yi was fighting with his dad about the relationship and didn't tell Shi De, so they both messed up, lol
Question, For those of us who can only watch this on YouTube , Are these trimmed down from from the Thai episodes?…
I saw a scene on Insta today, too! I'm so confused. Tian had dialogue after Phu passed out on the hammock, he was all, "Will you hate me if I tell you the truth?" Why are they cutting these things??
My first thought when looking at the cast for this, like, is this the BL Olympics? They have reps from like every major BL in the last year, lol. I mean, GMMTV is not repped, but otherwise... lol
I tried to avoid coming on here for spoilers, but I'm almost through ep 1 and caved. I'm so confused because I assumed we'd pick up at the same scene where we left off.
And now I read that she does not end up with Sun Oh and my heart. I just really didn't think it was possible for that not to be the case because they did such a bad job setting up Hye's character in Season 1, and one ep into season 2, this guy is no and there is no chemistry and wow, I'm just so disappointed.
Ok, so I'm a little surprised the dad WAS involved because that's what we all thought, then were like nah, now it's like YEA.
Anyway, I think he intercepts Shi De at the 2 year mark when he comes back. At that point, they would have been broken up for about a year, Shu Yi would have been heartbroken, and his dad was all, leave my son alone. That's my theory, anyway.
But today's episode, oh my goodness. These 2 are just amazing.
