I rewatched the whole thing this morning before watching the last ep and had prepared myself for a very sad ending, but thank goodness. Should be interesting to see what happens between parts 1 and 2, but damn. I just love these two so much. Nothing crazy new in terms of a story line, but the chemistry and acting is jus so so good, it feels new and fresh.
Well every Korean BL clearly needs an episode 9 because that's where all the magic happens, lol. Last scene aside, every other series would have ended with ep 8, but here we actually got to see them happy AND together for a full 15 minutes which was amazing. This was such a great series.
Not me rewatching ep 5 397289275 times waiting for Friday's episode. Do we think this is gonna be a happy ending before part 2? My brain can't stop overanalyzing it. This is my favorite BL at the moment and I love them so much and don't want anyone to hut them, lol
Finally starting episode 1 now, and I am definitely impressed. Also, what a HUGE 360 from Ton and Chon. I'm still not over how wrong that went. Then to replace the Friday slot with this? I'm here for it.
Finally watching the last episode now... and yeah. I know it had to follow the novel, and I get the arcs they were trying to create, but Type started the season with a job in a medical career not wanting to be taken care of and wanting him and Tharn to be equals in the relationship. Then the series ends with him unemployed, having to be fully reliant on Tharn anyway? LIke, what progress, if any, was made? I know he made personal progress by becoming a monk, but like, for ONCE, he really didn't overreact to the false cheating accusations and they had time a part,. Also, I guess he's 100% ok with the concept of marriage now, even though nothing really happened to resolve that? blah blah blah, ok. I'm clearly just trying to make sense of this whole season. I hope I can find the wedding special somewhere to watch after it airs considering it's not free anymore. Still love and support these guys, but woof was this season a disappointment.

This week's episodes were so good. The pacing for this show is amazing compared to other shorter drama. Also, they just so cute. Last week I was like, ok, this drama is cute, and now I'm just like ?
The amount I think about this series is probably super unhealthy.... but t's just so frigin good and so well done…
Also, prediction about the ending of Part 1... I think Shu Yi is gonna fight with his dad about the relationship and try to go to America with Shi De. Then I think the dad may do something to stop him and Shi De is stuck going alone.... just my theory, but happy to be wrong if it means a happy ending to Part 1.
