I just can't get used to Fan Xian's mother's voice, why did they change her voice? is this actually her real voice…
Because since a few years ago, if actors want to be dubbed they have to pay out of their own pocket. She is a minor actor, she doesnt have to money to spend on this.
what website are you using to watch? cause only 6 episodes are available to the site I'm using
I used MZTV on youtube ( one of the official intl broadcaster), and for the latest episodes kisskh, but the extra episode always has machine generated sub, so it will be very hard to follow along if you dont know any mandarin. I usually wait for real subs, but I was too curious about the end of episode 6 and wanted to peak at episode 7 XD
I read somewhere another theory was that he got mixed reviews in S1 so his team felt it was not worth it to get…
Well he was still green around the ears as an actor in 2018, so acting was definitely lacking, but he improved so much i dont think anyone would saty anything to him today.
Crown Prince tearful face in episode 6 looked so fake, I thought either the actor playing his role was not having a good day π , or everything was not as it seems.
His whole "kind prince' act since the beginning of season 2 gave me the ick, especially because he was portrayed as a cunning, scheming prince in season 1.
Relieved that he was unveiled for the pyscho he is, and cant wait for his plotting in season 2 XD
But what I'm most surprised about is why FanXian who is forever on his guards, and actually saw his scheming, would trust him?
I dont know it feels like the FanXian of this season is more like a lit fuse reacting to what happens to him rather than a tactician trying to up the game. It does make sense with everything that happened to him, he makes him more reckless and impatient, he is itching to beat down the bad guys. It has to rein it in, or he will suffer for it.
Okkayy I feel robbed π I thought the scene where FanXian would face the Emperor, eye in the eye will be a momemtum, on FanXian in terms of him facing the reality of the Emperor being his father. And what?!!! We didnt any scene of them facing each other, but jumped straight to the post flogging scene?
I just want to know does Xiao zhan star in the season 2 as well or did they remove his character
He doesnt star in it, it's either because it's a very little role or because he was filming something else at the same time. In any case, his character is barely there, so I dont mind the change at all.
You can see how insane skin whitening filter have been in cdrama land over the last years, fanxian skin tone has been completely washed out, that's just sad.
Just finished Joy of Life season 1 for the first time today! Can't believe I'm right on time for season 2! How I feel for the fans who have waited 5 years with a end like thatπππ
