If you're new to the Cdrama scene, and didnt hear of Yanxi Palace in 2018. Since then, she has played here and there but none was really successful so these dramas dontreally make it to the international audience.
Apparenlty the drama is really well received in China, people loving the plot, even the change that has been made to the original story, just broke Youku 8000 heat index, and came 2nd in terms of audience after JOL2 and before Fox SpiritMatchmaker.
