People be missing the point here so badly it’s sad and funny simultaneously.Maybe we can still carry on with…
"freedom is non existent". Freedom is the power to choose, censorship is to enforce a way, without leaving the power to choose. The moment you allow to have your freedom limited by such poor argumentation tricks like "real freedom doesn't exist so you are fighting for a lost cause" you won't get your power back. Freedom exist and will always exist because governments can punish but can't kill human nature and brain!

Why China hates its artists? Now they are hating pretty people, fgs nobody is watching a documentary, it is a drama! It is romantic vision from a period of time, not a real vision, it has historical elements, but not historical accuracy because it is not a documentary. People like to see beauty, and what is the problem? Such beauty standards are usually not common to see around your neighborhood, so watching such beautiful people on the screen just clicks right in our brain as fantasy element, not real life! And people are tired of real life all the time! What is the problem of 1 hour of escapism in the world to cool the burn out in the brain. Xi, you are ugly and get over it! Nobody has everything

I doubt it. People's attention span has gotten shorter.
Let's not generalize

"Princess Agents" had a million episodes, and still pacing was awful, the director chose some secondary…
Princess Agents should have been one season for the whole book. Both stretching or compacting stories will give you pacing and editing problems, but this one here is an example of a drama that should have around 45 episodes to not rush anything.

Thank god China relieved the ban on dramas with more than 40 episodes. We probably will be seeing dramas with more episodes next year and there will be less pacing and editing problems.

Yes, I enjoyed watching the passionate kiss - but why would they show her as drunk? It would have been better…
She was not drunk, he was poisoned

Fighting scenes are expensive, but also take a long time to film so sometimes they will not have time for it.

What in Titanic's name was that final? The scene with everyone greeting her even the dead people reminded me of Rose climbing the stair with the ghosts clapping at her. And then that sequence that looked like an extra chapter from the book, I found it anticlimactic.

I am curiously wondering if in ancient China there really existed fireworks. It appears in all C-dramas 🤭
Of course, they invented it, the gunpowder

It was not her decision, you have your opinion since you are replying to any post in this section calling her out for this matter, you should now just respect others.

Exactly, I like the FL, but would not ever say it is ok or just what she did, it is completely unfair to others and I expected the writer would make her character learn this the first time when she did it to XZ, but no, no development, she keeps doing it, next time she will do what? Place the Princess in a handcuff if she decides to go for a political marriage with the enemy kingdom?

I actually like her attitude and the decisions she made. Yes, they were reckless, but in the end, they helped…
Not only reckless, it was total lack of respect in some, lack of loyalty in others, arrogance in all them. She doesn't respect rules, she doesn't respect people's choice. She thinks she is the golden goddess owner of people lives to decide if they live or not despite their own choices. Give me a break! This writer is nuts!

Li Huaian is seriously injured. He cant even stand properly. He will only drags them down if he goes to the battlefield.…
He wasn't in a place to be saved, he was conscious and had a decision, in the end it is his decision, not her, and it is even more evident when she had to knockout him in order to take him away, if he was that injured she wouldn't need to do this. It was not her decision.
