That you'll fix stuff only if one of the person is sick? that's lazy writing.

This drama relies so much on illness to fix things between people WELP

Like, he’s known her since childhood, acting like besties, but then suddenly ditches just because she got a boyfriend? That's quite childish. I get setting boundaries or giving some space, but completely ghosting a friend? especially when they tried to reach you so many times, its not even about friendship anymore just basic human decency.

Wow, that’s rough, and honestly, and its kinda sad people act like this. I'm sorry you had to go through that, especially during such a tough time. He definitely wasn't being a good friend, and that's on him, not you.

Choi Seung Ho as a friend is......ahhh, I love him, but man, if your close friend tries to reach out so many times, WHO TF ignores them?! Like, yeah, she had a boyfriend, but seriously, what kind of friend does that? Then they hit you with the "Oh, I wish I reached out sooner" crap—man, stop. Keep your feelings aside for a second and act like a friend, damn. God gracious, this whole thing is so frustrating! 😩

It was a fair breakup. He didn’t cheat or do anything wrong, but it wasn't entirely his fault either. Being the only one taking care of someone with an illness, drains you, physically and emotionally. He was exhausted, and his reaction was understandable. But so was Seok Ryu’s. She knew it was an endless battle, and with her of personality, its understandable she didn’t want to keep dragging him down with her. Maybe letting him go was her way of saving him from more pain.

She broke off their engagement because she thought he was cheating, but if it turns out it was just a misunderstanding and he wasn’t unfaithful, the ex might still have an upper hand over the ML. The ex has an advantage because the FL might still have lingering feelings or unresolved issues from their past relationship. Not ML's fault, the ex’s familiarity and emotional history could give the ex a stronger position against the ML.

It was in the past but I hope there's nothing that in upcoming episodes 😭

Things that seriously icked me this episode:

1) Her parents, like, I get they're mad, but they're giving "overreaction" instead of "reaction." They're treating her like a clueless teen who can't make her own decisions, and it's annoying atp. It's the same thing over and over.

2) Why is the ex *still* around? Why is she even tolerating him? The dude cheated on her! She could easily cut him out, but nooo, she's letting him linger like an old text you regret sending. AHHH It's mad boring and frustrating.

3) The cancer plot. I'm not as disappointed about this, but come on—using it to build more misunderstandings and tension between the leads was a meh move for me.

I like the dynamics between the couple. Friends to Lovers isn't my favourite trope, tbvh😅, but this is one of the few that I'm truly enjoying. I like that they include the career arc too—might not be the main focus, but it's not completely off the track either. The flow of these episodes was better and the conversations felt comparatively natural. And that Ep 4 ending 👀
