Each 5 minute episode consists of an instance. The dialogues and storytelling might be limited but still it didn't stop me from making me laugh or smile. I love how ridiculously silly and funny it was. The optimistic approach of the Higuma was so refreshing to see.
I wish it was a bit more longer and detailed though, nevertheless I enjoyed those 5 minutes each episode to the fullest HAHA.
โ Impressive start, the premise was promising, like a demon in contract marriage + losses his powers. I was intrigued how they'll develop the story, and had me hooked till Ep8.
โ Song Kang being a hot oppa and showing his abs and couple having beautiful visuals.
โ My boy is a demon, who has lived on this planet for hundreds of years but why does he act like a pathetic lover boy with no clue about anything after all this time ๐
โThe plot is lackluster with no interesting developments or engaging storyline in the second half of the show. It's extremely predictable.
โToo much talk, not enough action. For a fantasy drama, I wanted more magic, but it was disappointing that they didnโt use it to its full potential. Unsatisfactory feeling.
โ There was way too much focus on side stories. They weren't bad, but they were clearly just filler to stretch the show to 16 episodes. It could've easily been wrapped up in 12.
โI wish the old lady was more involved in the story, her character was interesting and I thought she'll play out a huge part in the story but she didn't ๐ hmmmmm
And don't even get me started on the FL, girly your husband is a demon, what do you expect him to be???? A angel??? ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Overall, I felt this was a mix version of SWDBS and The globin lmaooo with some lazyy writing, it had so much potential but route was too cliche and ended up becoming too predictable for my taste๐คง
I couldn't pass through the first episode itself, it was pretty boring for my taste, and if it's not substance and a staring competition, id skipp his one! Thanks for the review. v
I watched up to Episode 13 in 2022, so I don't have many thoughts honestly. I did enjoy the stories at the start; they were engaging. However, it soon felt repetitive: they would have a case, try to find legal justification, struggle, have a 'dolphin๐ฌ moment,' and then win. This loop became boring.
I wouldn't say it was too draggy; it was nice, but they could have added more spice ๐ถ๏ธ to the stories. On the positive side, there were some really nice character developments.
ML was just a romance prop, what a shame, literally nothing on him, not even his proper information was known, I wish he was more included in the law part, otherwise the romance was pretty okish.
Park Eun Bin is a great actress, and I loved her versatility๐ฉต
The first break-up: Ba Bi was swayed by momentary emotions, which isn't the main problem in itself. However, he never communicated with Yumi about his feelings until she had to ask him, which makes it emotional cheating.
In the second break-up: the love cell never returned because Yumi wasn't in love with Ba Bi; rather, she was attached to the memories of them. She tried to built the relationship again, but it went against her beliefs. Yes, beliefs can be adjusted, but that underlying feeling doesn't sit well unless you genuinely want to accept them, rather than just to maintain the relationship. Mixing up your principles and dating beliefs always leaves you confused about your partner and should've been communicated by Yumi.
