The plot is pretty basic 🙈 I'm not gonnà lie —Team A wants to take down Team B.
✅ The bromance was insanely good! It felt so comfortable and genuine; the characters had real bonding moments.
✅ The action scenes were packed with tension and executed horrifically well. Though, let's be real, the main leads could've been taken down easily many times 😅
✅ I've been a nasty girl, when they were fighting instead of looking at their fight, I was looking at their body🤣🤣🤣
❌ The plot didn't grab me; it was too predictable with nothing surprising.
❌ Kim Sae Ron's character was brushed off randomly 🙆🏼♀️Did I miss something? What even happened to her?
Overall If you're into action and violence, give it a shot! But honestly, the plot is pretty basic and not something I'd watch the drama for.
The main plot was laid out too simply and early for the viewers, making it predictable and unsurprising. When the characters finally discovered it much later in the show, there was nothing left to look forward to as a viewer.
Another show I started while it was airing, only to finish it three years later.
It began with an incredible dark and mysterious vibe that hooked me immediately.
The saga of: - Bullying - Toxic relationships - F4 being dumbass good-looking
...continues in this version too.
❌ I lowkey wanted Ren to end up with Gorya. Thyme is such a black and white character; his opinions about Gorya often regressed, going back to square one repeatedly. He doesn't make an effort to go out of his way or take the lead in situations. Unless his friends convince him to do so🤷🏼♀️
❌ Unnecessary drama and over-exaggeration of many plot lines.
❌ They didn't need to turn "The Story of Iris" into a KFC chicken ad.
✅ Compared to other versions, this one has a lot of improvements and a better storyline.
I was hooked until Episode 10, but then I lost interest. It fell into the same clichés as Meteor Shower, which made me kinda 😴
The story is about Yook Dong Shik who was treated like pushover, getting stomped on by everyone at work. When he’s framed and on the verge of losing his job, he decides to end it all. But he is interruped as he stumbles upon a murder scene, flees, and ends up with amnesia—and a psychopath’s diary. With no memory and only the diary’s terrifying tales, he starts to believe he’s the psychopath.
✅ Intriguing premise ✅ Blend of dark comedy and crime thriller. ✅ Strong performance by Yoon Shi Yoon, who convincingly portrayed both personalities.
❌ The police investigation felt like it was done in the 2000s, with no CCTV cameras and a lackluster investigation despite multiple serial murders. ❌ Pacing issues and sometimes disjointed storyline progression. Going back and forth between comedy and thriller lowkey ruined the vibe of the drama. ❌ Overdone comedic elements. While occasional comedic relief is fine, it dominated about 70% of the show, detracting from the crime thriller aspect. ❌ Underdeveloped antagonist. He was neither scary nor did he get on my nerves + he was Park Sung Hoon🤣🐻🎀. ❌ Could have used better colour palatte and lighting.
Final thoughts: I wish the comedic aspect hadn't overshadowed the plot as much as it did. The premise was great and intriguing for a thriller, but it lacked the seriousness and intensity that a true thriller demands.
It's worthy of a fair shot, but comparatively very light hearted to other crime thrillers out there.
It took me 5 hours to complete a 4-minute drama with 25 episodes 🤡. They could've just made this into a movie instead of a mini-drama; it would have been more convenient to watch.
This was a cute teen and youth romance, with many likable tropes and a short and sweet storyline. I enjoyed their bond, especially the occasional bickering! Also I'd suggest turning off your brain in the time travel aspect, it was beyond my comprehensive skills too🤣👌🏻
I liked the FL; she was cute and a little noisy, but she wasn't annoying or childish. The actress did a pretty good job!
I wish Gege smiled a bit more and expressed his reactions more expressively. Still, he's not bad compared to other stone-faced MLs; he can definitely improve!
The storyline was pretty good considering it was a mini-drama. So if you're looking for short and sweet drama give it a shot! 7.1/10
❌ Lack of communication ❌ Endless misunderstandings ❌ The whole fiancée plot—ugh ❌ Unnecessary SML, seriously, why? 🤡 ❌ The constant back and forth about "stuff" ❌ There was no business here; the FL practically had authority over the ML. Boss who?🤣
✅ Chemistry between the leads ✅ ML is an extremely good kisser 🐻👌🏼
Honestly, this show had so many problematic elements, I could write an essay calling them out. But you know what? I still enjoyed it! 🤣🤣 Ahemmmmmm. PEAK GUILTY PLEASURE!
The whole concept was an issue—trying to pull off a "Cinderella" story in real life. The plot was either nonexistent or just... this. But I know one thing, I sacrificed my sleep to binge-watch this, so that’s saying something.
It started out great, with the survival game holding the majority of the plot. But by the time it reached Episode 4, unnecessary stuff took over. It was just TALK, TALK, and more talk. Out of a 50-minute episode, there were literally only 10 minutes of gameplay 🤡 I wanted more games! It was a lowkey disappointment of this season.

Seon Ji Hwan's dad: It's time to put an end to this childish game👺👺👺👺
Self defence ✅
And romance felt flat as well😅
