God i HATE this trope of making female characters "choose" between their career and love. Why can't they do both?…
I think he needs therapy for a while, he should go with her to Seoul. That's a option where she could meet both the things halfway, I'm pretty sure if Du Shik knows about the offer he will send her backπ€·
But then again Seoul suffocates himπ but I feel she should also not let go this good opportunity.
Istg my mood get ruins when people talk about ratings of any drama like why is it soo high/why is it so low. Rating is completely based on one's personal preferences, just because you like a drama doesn't mean the other person as well has to or vice versaπ
People are talking about the pacing, but tbh I'm satisfied with everything they showed till now.Particularly in…
Exactly right? DS wasn't even ready to face his past in previous episodes, what in the world would have changed???
Just like every character in drama who got one episode for their backstory so did DS got but the difference is his past is darker compared to others π
The pacing is perfect for me... It's a rom-com so light hearted episodes and cheesy romance are needed... None…
This drama is rom com but despite bein one I'm still hooked, mostly I get bored around ep 12 (once the leads are together) the pacing ain't a problem really, the writer has always given every character each episode to reveal about their past so did they did for DS. But his past is just too dark compared to others.
I agree with this. Let's talk for example the show When the Camellia Bloom. Since the suspense plot was intertwined…
We only knew so little about Du Shik's backstory like his trauma.
Still everytime Du Shik was hurt it hurt a lot of viewers coz we are the one who are watching from viewer perspective. I can't even imagine knowing all his backstory and watching like 13-15 is enough π.
I think it's up to him now, he is graduated from a really great college and has ability but maybe he can't again leave Gongjin easily π but I think he should at least find a stable financial source before starting a family with Hye Jin.

Yeah exactly what I wanted to explain!
I had that anxious feeling always while watching WTCB that's why I felt mystery was dragged not because it was dragged but it was already shown in the drama from earlier episodes.and literally start of every episode without any explanation till the last episodes.
Where as the case for HOMCHA was different, they give little hints which made me think that he has some another character with trauma but it was deeper. Had I know it was soo deep I would have been scared of literally watching each episode!
"Knives aren't the only way to stab people. It's impossible to recover when you stab people with words. It stays there for life, stuck in people's hearts." - A quote which I read yesterday.
Du Shik hearing "Some people bring death around them" "You should've been the one to die" Must have hurt that boy so much. How can a person wounded so deeply can actually open to people quickly.
The thing is- this show needs 20 episodes π The critique of pacing is only because of uncertainty of how they…
Even tho I thought today's episode would be real crazy because they gonna reveal about his past it wasn't expect the last scene things were pretty calm tho a lot of things happened. I know that writer won't disappoint us with ending π
I might be in minority but here me out: The pace of the drama I don't find it much problematic tbh. The writer kept giving minor hints about Du Shik's in past episodes. In all of those first 1-10 episodes Du Shik was convincing himself that Hye Jin & he are just friends, like he has always been building a wall between everyone in Gongjin. But now that he started finally dating Hye Jin, the question that "Does he deserve to be happy" was always on his mind.
He wanted to ignore his past rather than facing it for once and all. *We have to keep in mind that whenever Du Shik's past memories were shown it just made him remember that how much pain loving people gave him* but the thing he kept avoiding them was because his motto was to never get emotionally attach to living beings ever again but once Hye Jin entered his life things changed.
And NOW that finally he was ready to open up to Hye Jin they started unfolding his story. The writer completely DIDN'T gave us everything in this episode ( about his past) they are still a lot of things left.
Had they showed us Du Shik's past already what would have happen? Because he wasn't even ready to face it back then but now he knows that he got Hye Jin's back so he wanted to open up.
But then again Seoul suffocates himπ but I feel she should also not let go this good opportunity.

HOMCHA broke it's own record of previous episodesπ Congratulations π

Changing your whole lifestyle because of them must have been to hard.
I hope the writer doesn't disappoint with last two episodes π

Words remain in one's heart for a longer time.

Imagine the condition of the person they said it to???? The guilt?π
