Yeah. And i read somewhere that the director tweeted "i don't care" in response to criticisms.
At first he apologized and then dropped that bomb. And then, went to make his twitter private.

Step brother? It's not incestuous then even if there's one. Incest implies blood related.
Hello onepiece, if you've not read Star In Water yet don't spoil uncertain things. It is true that there is an incest theme (which greatly resembles History 4) in the novel about Nam, but it is not incest since they are not blood related. Nam loves his step brother whom he grew up with, the older brother (Nuer) left abroad for leukemia treatment (XingSie version of leaving out of their home) then came back home to continue their story (lols).

Nope. You extended it to watch Bas, standing at the ocean with tears in his eyes. And the goofy lovestruck look…
That too! Bas sure can pull such acts.

Is there any politic struggle or corruption in this?
It was set in the Republican era, so corruption and political struggle was the backdrop of the series. However, this focuses on addiction theme.

They're fine, but their scenes are belabored - it needs to be tighter editing or it starts to go flat.
I kind of agree with this. The series kind of pushing unnecessary and repetitive scenes. I get that it is for comedic effect, it kind of gets tiring.
